“lovely way to entertain your kids”
Reviewed 21 April 2014 via mobile

I've been here twice now. Once for a sing along for my two year old child at Christmas, and today for a musical on Brian Boru. They really are excellent. Very decent value too. Highly recommend checking out if you want to keep the kid entertained for an hour or two and they have something that sounds good on.

“A favourite in our family.”
Reviewed 25 March 2014

The Ark is a go to location for our family. We have been to the Circus workshop, free art classes during the Secret of Kells exhibition and the Teddy Bear exhibition. Fantastic value for money. Great for children under 12. Would recommend this for families. The staff are always helpful and engaging.

“Teddy Bear Exhibition”
Reviewed 23 March 2014 via mobile

We had the pleasure to be part of the teddy bear exhibition at the Ark. What a fantastic place in the heart of Dublin with friendly and accommodating staff and devoted volunteers. We were holding Build Your Bear workshops and had such a pleasurable experience with children and families. Some people even took part both days and told us that they visit the Ark regularly.

“If you go down to the woods today.... Teddy Bear Exhibition”
Reviewed 23 February 2014

Visited the Teddy Bear exhibition at the Ark and had a lovely day out with my two children, aged 7 & 10. There was enough to keep their attention but not requiring them to sit still and pay attention for periods of time. Plenty of stops for colouring in, listening to stories or learning about real life bears too. The Ark itself is a quirky building which adds to the enjoyment for children as they explore its levels and nooks. The staff were lovely and we will be visiting The Ark again.

“A great experience for the children but needs to be a little more professional”
Reviewed 27 September 2013

We brought our 7yr and 8yr old to the circus themed experience in August. They certainly enjoyed it but while the two actors were good, they lacked a little energy and when working with a small group of 10, it neede a little extra to lift it. It seemed they were simply going through the paces.

We were shown into the art room for mask making at the end and most of the staff were great but the lead girl was really poor. The tone and attitude was one of "This is the end of the day and I really couldn't be bothered." When you're a professional, you have to give every customer your all.

At one stage she even referred to the fact that she couldn't wait for us to leave so she could go home.

The kids didn't notice but i certainly did and it tainted the experience for me.

All in all - good but the staff need to give it more energy and enthusiasm. Great potential.
