“great guides”
Reviewed 19 June 2014

Very informative and passionate guides who gave us the insight into the history of trinity college.
Go in the afternoon to miss the crowds.
While it was very enjoyable chester Beatty library up the road was much more exciting, colourful, and free.
But who doesn't want to see the book of kells ?

“Not to be missed in Dublin”
Reviewed 19 June 2014

Great library with antique books floor to ceiling in the Long Room. Prior to entering the Long Room you have an opportunity to view the actual Book of Kells. Very crowded in long line to get admission tickets but no too crowded inside the library. A cafeteria is in the college quad area. Located in city center area. Well worth a visit whicle you are in Dublin.

“The book of Kells and Trinity Library”
Reviewed 19 June 2014

Just walking into the Trinity Library took my breath away! Books as far as the eye can see. If you are a book lover, this is a must-see. We also went to the Book of Kells exhibit. The exhibit is beautifully done. We took the time to read each placard and really take in the items displayed in the glass cases. The exhibit offers discounted rates for children and students, so don't forget your student ID card if you have one!

“Not only the Book of Kells.!!”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

I was blown away by ALL the ancient text (and the fantastic displays) while going to see the book of Kells.
Almost equally impressive is the Book of Dorrow and Book of Howth, as well as video presentations of bookmaking etc...
(I know it sounds lame)
But, it prepares you to appreciate the multitude of ancient books in the Old Library stacked probably 6 stories high..spectacular.!
WELL WORTH IT.

“Book of Kells”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

Husband was displeased over the price of admission (10€pp) but came away glad we saw the Book of Kells Exhibition. The Library is fabulous and busy but everyone respected everybody's time and space. Trinity College has other museums of interest as well.
