Living in the area we had passed this Casino Marino for years and years and then recently with the 1014 battle of Clontarf celebrations and a picture which has been brought from Hawaii to be displayed at the Casino the journey was made into the CAsino Marino. A little hard to find to entrance as it is just off the Malahide Road ( you could easily miss this turn! )

Steep steps down into the house - not wheelchair accessible. Prices 3 euro for an adult / 2 euro students / OAP and 1 euro for children the 45 minute tour was well worth it. The tour was informative and interesting to see all the architectural techniques that were used and have them pointed out to us.

4 out of five stars as the house is not fully accessible for wheelchair patrons / the entrance to the estate was a little tricky to find. But I would 100% recommend this for anyone to give it a visit.

Such a deceiving looking building...looks like one room house, but inside it has 16 rooms...all lovingly restored. Loved the building itself, both outside and inside. Well worth a visit...only euro 3 pp

The Casino in Marino is a gem. From the road you think it is a square but is full of optical illusions and deceptively larger on the inside. The use of windows, doors, curves as optical illusions is fantastic. The original floors are absolutely fabulous. Well worth a visit.

Often overlooked, this is a very unique building & worth a visit. It's in a lovely area & a nice way to spend a couple of hours.

Off the beaten tract, but worth a visit. You will enjoy the clever work of the 18th century architect who built this small retreat for Lord Charlemont, a connoisseur of classical art and culture.
