“It's a bridge - get over it!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 November 2013

It's a bridge over The Liffey. Hard to write 100+ characters about an average-looking bridge. No point taking pics, because there's a constant stream of pedestrians. Does lead to Temple Bar though :)

“It's a must... even at a FULL penny. :)”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 October 2013

This is the bridge of bridges in Dublin. You've got to go. When you do, bring your camera and a small lock (like a lock and key or a combination lock) that you don't mind leaving behind. Prep it before you go by writing the names in permanent marker of two lovers, so you can lock their love together forever by locking it onto this bridge (or onto another lock, since many are chained together). Makes for a good photo, a fun in-Dublin thing to do, and a great little, love-focused memory maker. Huge bonus points for doing that it your a man reading this, your girlfriend/wife DOESN'T read this, and you surprise her with this romantic activity while walking across the bridge hand-in-hand. Points significantly reduced if you do this with your girlfriend and your wife sees the photos. ;) Oh... and don't bother bringing a 1/2 a penny. This is a freebie.

“Take a walk across and check out the love locks”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 October 2013

Whenever we are in Dublin, we always take the time to cross the Liffey walking over the Ha' Penny Bridge to go into the Temple Bar area.

At the peak, you with find love locks attached to the framework. These are padlocks with the initials of couples.

You get a nice view of the Liffey in both directions.

“Quaint”

I loved the padlocks that people attached to the bridge, as well as making for fantastic photography, it was also cute to feel you shared a little bit in a moment a couple had together. To go with a partner would be sweet to leave your own little momento of a trip away.
