“Plan to spend a few hours”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

If you have ANY interest in plants or gardening at all, plan to spend several hours here. The gardens are lovely and there are walking tours you can download to listen to http://ingeniousireland.ie/podcast-audio-tours/national-botanic-gardens-glasnevin/
Download podcasts before you go to make the most of your trip. The staff are very friendly and will help you find your way. If you can find small school groups, listen to the children's responses to the plants. But plan to spend hours there. Bring water or purchase a tea and scone at the little shop. Lovely.

“Great park”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

Lovely park for a nice walk. Lots of nice flowers and so many different trees. Very clean park, nobody is eating (no bins). It is very nice to sit by the water, enjoy beauty of water lilies and watch squirrel running around.
P.S. IT IS FREE ENTRY!!!
