“Wonderful!”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

After spending the morning in Glesnevin cemetery, and lunch in the neighbouring gravediggers pub, I sauntered into the Botanic Gardens. What a great place to spend walking around looking at the vast amount of plants and flowers ... and it’s FREE!

“A piece of heaven”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

Botanic gardens are one of my favourite places to visit over the years over the seasons and while the art exhibition has been on even better. Each year I am greeted with beautiful pieces of sculpture, artwork, clever designs which are picked from a selection to exhibit amongst the plants and flowers here - a bonus!

Fantastic..
Great place to visit 3yr old had a great day!
Only drawbacks were the aggressive park attendant ushering everyone out at closing time and the warm drinks fridge in the resteraunt.

Imagine this is free of charge - a stroll around here is like a little slice of heaven ! there are so many plants/trees/flowers & areas to sit & reflect. The staff that maintain the place are very helpful & friendly.

“Visited before in April and when to see the summer blooms.”
Reviewed 10 August 2014

Entrance in free into the garden and it's is not that far from the city (depend on your definition of far). There are a lot of flowers to see, best to come in Spring time to see the rhododendron in bloom, for a pest (so i was told) they are beautiful.

In summer the rose is in full bloom and you get to see different type of rose.

If you don't want to pay the expensive fee of 16.50 pounds to enter kew garden in London, the botanical garden in Dublin makes a good subtitude. The plus side of dublin over london? It took me 7h none stop to finish Kew garden while it only took me 1-2 hour to finish Dublin Botanical Garden.
