Owner description: Since John Jameson's brave first steps into this building in 1780, we've been focused on his ambition to create unforgettable experiences (along with great whiskey, of course). The new look Jameson Distillery Bow St. carries on this ambition through five fully guided experiences: Bow St. Experience Distillery Tour, Premium Whiskey Tasting, Whiskey Blending Class, Whiskey Cocktail Making Class, and a Cask Draw Experience in Dublin's only Live Maturation Warehouse - all of which have a firm focus on immersive storytelling. You'll be invited to touch, smell, and most importantly, taste Jameson in the original Bow St. Distillery buildings. The only way to get closer to the source would be to have John Jameson guide you through the distillery himself.

I'm not usually one for brewery or distillery tours, but was very pleasantly surprised by the Jameson Distillery in Dublin. Our group opted for the Whisky Tasting tour and it was great. Our guide was knowledgeable and funny and made the experience quite interactive and fun. I didn't think I'd like the Jameson's whisky, but came away a fan. I'd highly recommend.

Went to the Bar to enjoy a drink. Was us and one other couple when we sat down. The bartender served the other couple which was expected as they were there first. After he made their drinks and socialized with them and collected their payment, two other people sat at the bar. The bartender ignored us and proceeded to serve the other two even though we had been there for about ten minutes by then. After he served them, he then started refilling bottles followed by going back to socialize with the first couple. Another couple sat down next to us while we were still waiting. Needless to say, after 15 to 20 minutes we gave up. Sad thing is we like this place and had a great time with the tour and drinks there a few years ago. Now it was like we were invisible and we leave with a negative experience instead.

We visited the distillery and were treated to a wonderful tour by Janice. She was a great storyteller and kept us all enthralled by her descriptions of the Jameson history and the way their whiskey is made. The tasting at the end was fun and the drink included in our tour was a treat. Well worth a visit.

The distillery was a lovely informative experience. Our tour guide was fun and interactive, and we got to try three different types of whiskey. The bar towardthe end has great lighting and the Irish coffee was the best I’ve had in Ireland.
