This is a small restaurant almost hidden away on a busy street in Rathmines. It was poring rain so we couldn't sit in the outside area which looked quite nice. In spite of the weather we were made to feel immediately welcome and comfortable by the two excellent waiters. We were having dinner and the selction of starters and mains was inventive (roast figs in parma ham, stuffed with gorgonzola, drizzled with thyme honey, followed by Fillet of cod wrapped in jamon de bayonne served on a warm beetroot, asparagus and peanut salad with a watercress and blue cheese sauce YUMM!), and yes they did taste as good as they sound. This is a little restaurant which is serious about it's cooking, has a small but interesting wine list and punches well above its size, highly recommended.
