This is a wonderful place to stay if you have a conference at the University College of Dublin. It is right across the road (5-10min walk), where there is a bus stop to the airport and also to the city center. Coming back from the city center, one can take the bus 145 or 46A and get off at the stop just 5 min by foot from the B&B. It takes about 15 min by bus to get back to the B&B from the city center. Make sure you have the right change with you since buses in Dublin do not give back change!
Helen Martin, the proprietor is super helpful and friendly. The room is clean and the breakfast is good. I had the continental breakfast option and always have more than enough to eat for the 5 days I was there. Other guests are also friendly. Bed is super comfy. I had the room by the road. It could be a little noisy if you have the keep the windows open as there is no AC. However, even a light sleeper like myself slept through. WLAN included : )
Wished that there are more of these simple, clean, honest accommodations around. It is a gem of a place, no overcharging and dishonest fare here. Pure and simple, clean and bright!
