“Good place for Dining”
Reviewed 17 April 2014

I found the ambience good. Wide variety of dishes and reasonably priced. Dimsums and the Jasmine tea is really good.

“Off the Beaten Track”
Reviewed 7 January 2014

Ate here for the first time after a hectic trip to Ikea. It was 4:30 pm so we were just in time for Dim Sum. The dumplings were excellent and slightly larger than usual, the beef and pork Cheung Fhun was good but not as good as the Millenium in the City. Because of the time of day it was not very busy but there were a few Chinese family's eating which is always a good sign. Overall good service vey good Dim Sum and very reasonable €60 for three of us including 5 Tsing Tao Chinese beers.

“New Year's Eve dinner”
Reviewed 3 January 2014 via mobile

This restaurant is always very good. Lots of Chinese people eat here which is a great sign. Service is fine is a little abrupt. When I booked the table for six they agreed to offer the starlight menu which is €16 pp. when we were seated they gave us the menus which were €20 pp for two courses and €26 for 3. Just as we were about to order and we has received our drinks the waiter advised that the two course was now €25 pp because of the day that was in it. That ended up being €10 extra than originally expected when I booked the table. I was disappointed with this but said nothing as we had my parents with us so didn't want to fuss. Food was very good as always and the restaurant was very full so there was a nice atmosphere. The green Thai curry fab, chow mein tasty and the duck very satisfying. Will return because it is close by and good but I didn't like the attitude.

“Would not recommend”
Reviewed 5 December 2013

I went to this restaurant last weekend as was shopping in the centre. Was dubious as I entered as none of the empty tables were set for diners, and the look of the place just seemed unprofessional. As I sat down, I noticed that the carpets were filthy, had not been cleaned in a long time. Anyhow we were looking through the menu and noticed that rice or chips were not included in the price which would be the norm, then my younger sister asked the waiter if they had chicken balls to which he replied yes but they cost about €14!! We promptly left!!

“no athmosphere”
Reviewed 29 October 2013

when i lived in dublin this was a favourite of mine, so when back shopping for a day in Blancharstown i decided to take the family here. The decor was the same as i remembered, not bad ...... but a bit dated... We ordered 6 lunch specials... great value at 11 euro p.p...but not that great food.. we had 5 chicken sweetcorn soups to start and 1 chicken wings... it was only ok , i ve had better in a take out.. The main course were a bit better, however the fried rice tasted like it was left out all day,, a lot of it was hard,,, the kids ordered minerals which were all flat...Why do restaurants feel they can charge u 2 euro a glass when they came out of a lrg bottle.. service was very poor , not a bit friendly. .a quick visit to the loos and i was shocked, they were filthy. smelled bad, paper all over the ground and filthy sinks.....next time i m back in dublin i ll try somewhere else.. believe there s a good takeout there..
