“Take away Thai”
Reviewed 19 June 2013

Food is average, but it is cheap and tasty, and if one evening it happens that you don't feel like cooking, this is a perfect take away ( I'd recommend the Gang Dang with noodles). Of course, don't be too fussy, you get what you pay for, but from time to time it is ok!

“Delicious and so affordable!”
Reviewed 29 May 2013

We stopped in after seeing this tiny place have a lot of locals and we were glad we did. The noodle dish we got was huge, delicious and cheap. A great thing to get and split for a change of pace from a sit down restaurant.

“Yum by name, yum by nature”
Reviewed 24 May 2013

This is a favourite with Trinity College staff and students and with good reason. A short skip across the road from the Arts Block, for €5.50 you can get a delicious box of noodles or rice with your chosen meal.

I usually go for the Pad Thai (in fact, I have just wolfed one down after a hard morning's work) which is beautifully flavoured. My only criticism would be that I would prefer a few more peanuts, but the flavour is there.

This small establishment serves quick, delicious grub for a very reasonable price.

Limited seating but i usually take it away to a bench somewhere or to my office.

“Terrible Pad Thai”
Reviewed 20 March 2013 via mobile

This is a deli bar with canteen style counter. The food is all pre cooked and sitting in containers. The Pad Thai was horrible- greasy and absolutely tasteless. I ate just a bit of it and left to get real food! €5.50 for a meal is only good value if you were given something edible- in this case it was a waste of money! Avoid. Try Stir Crazy on Dame St. instead. For the same money, you choose your ingredients and they cook your meal on a wok in front of you.

“Best Thai on the go!”
Reviewed 3 March 2013

Yum Thai is a very nice tiny Thai deli. The food is very good, great variety, portions are generous and it's very cheap.
Recommended.
