My wife and i stayed in the Ballsbridge hotel for two night 26th&27th oct ,
The receptionists were very helpful and had all information we wanted for getting about the area, We were talking to the guest relations manager , A very helpful man ,The bar is attached to the hotel and pulls a great pint of Guinness, The bar food was lovely and we found the staff helpful . Our room was lovey , Very clean and cosy, just the right temperature , getting into the town from the hotel is easy , Busses from across the road and there are a good supply of taxis .The hotel restaurant has a fine menu and affordable... All together i would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in Dublin.. We have stayed in hotels in the centre of Dublin but in Ballsbridge i found that there is little noise at night which meant that i got two good nights sleep

Room Tip: The towers side of the hotel is superb Bedroom suites are very comfortable Well aired rooms

Por performance for the money paid. Have been there on a business trip. Me and my colleagues agreed. Very old interior, in parts construction in rented rooms had not been finalized. Slow service at check-in. Had to pay for internet connection. Breakfast and lunch OK, but far from being spectacular. For sure, there should be better options around.

Stayed there for a week in October. Very classy hotel and very nice rooms. The receptionists at the front desk were very helpful. Pub and restaurant were high quality. It was near the major sports stadium in Dublin and the city center is within walking distance. They have there own parking lot and in an area were there are other restaurants and pubs nearby.

1st room I was assigned was truly unbearable, stains on walls, ceiling, curtains carpet was wet and worn out , shower didnt work and bed was uncomfortable to sit on.

2nd room was a visual improvment with "less stains", shower still didnt work properly internet took 2.5 hours before it came online with several prompts from me! still had to chase and very casual attitude despite i was there on business and unable to work.

No effort was made to compensate for this dismal experiance, the hotel had a strong resemblance to the Hotel from the film the shining

Room Tip: My best tip is find anywhere else even a hostel it sure as hell wont be much worse!

I found this hotel to be very confortable and friendly. I love the bar food here! The breakfast was really nice too. There is alot of taxi's just around the corner to get to town. The room was comfortable and the beds were nice and comfy. The staff and efficiency in this hotel is second to none.....the best customer service i have ever experienced! Get a good rate midweek and most weekends...nice area.......would highly recommend!

This hotel sure has gone down hill, service is just about functional, room was dark and hot. Reception tried to charge us for Wi Fi connection for all 3 of our devices, when we complained she apologised and gave us vouchers to use. Breakfast was overcooked, the bacon and black pudding were dried out. What was once a fine bar has lost its character, it has no atmosphere whatsoever. It's a shame really as this was once a fine well run hotel of good quality.
