We stayed here for 2 nights in Jan '13, sorry my stay wasn't longer. Asked for a quiet room and got just that. The room was big, clean and comfy, wouldn't mind a bed like this one at home. The staff were pleasant, and any request was no problem. Location was perfect, so central. We arrived early, room was not ready but there was no problem keeping our luggage. Breakfast was self service, good variety available. Check in and out not a problem. I will be back again. Dave, Cork

Room Tip: We had room 45 and it was quiet.

The boyfriend and I stayed there for quite a long visit to Dublin, we just checked out today. The room was very spacious and comfy and warm, but it was not serviced properly during our stay. No dusting and very messy bedsheets. They even left their cleaning products in the bathrooms. Once we asked if we could have a fork and knife brought to the room and we were told to go get it ourselves. Taxi service is an absolute ripoff. Breakfast was average but very good value for money. Not the same for dinner, the portions did not reflect the prices on the menu. The staff looked a bit overworked and was not always friendly. Check in and check out we're pleasant enough though. The room did get a bit too not during the night, and some of the younger guests at the hotel would sometimes get very drunkenly loud in the corridors in the early hours in the morning. Would stay there again because the room was great, I just wish it was serviced more properly during the day.

The Hotel on a whole was clean and quite modern with friendy staff. Upon arriving earlier than the stated check in time, they were able to allocate us a room. The room we stayed in, 306 (the smallest room compared to all the pictures on here!!) was said to be smoke free, however there was a strong distinct smell of smoke on the landings. There were also a lot of children staying at the same time and unfortunately at breakfast times were continuously screaming over their cereals. Although on the plus side, the food wasn't too bad. Location wise it was a good 10 minute walk to the centre of the town and 20 minutes to Temple bar, so not the most central but for the price it was reasonable.

Room Tip: Don't stay in 306

Just returned from a valentines stay at this hotel . Booked this as the pictures looked decent , didn't read the reviews as this can make me misjudge anything so thought I'd give it a look.
Entered the hotel and pleased on entry and staff was welcoming , arrived early but couldn't check in but we left our luggage in the hotel whilst we enjoyed our day .
Arrived back later and checked in and found rooms. large clean and happy to be spending a few nights here.
1 bad point of this room was the windows had been painted as room was hot and stuffy I tried to open the window which I struggled to open but with a bit of banging here and there I managed to free it and open the window . If there was a fire and the only exit was the window a women would not of been able to do this !! This should of been looked at once they had been painted , bad safety check not taken
I would recommend friends and family to stay here as it's close to temple bar area after a 10 minute walk for drinks and meals
Close to shops
Great cafe on the corner where I spent every morning having breakfast . Cheaper than the hotel .

A mid February mini break so we wanted something cheap, close to the centre. The hotel didn't disappoint .Rooms were spacious, clean, tidy and good ensuite. Staff were very helpful, we were able to check in early and leave bags after check out.

It is roughly 10mins from the Liffy so not too bad. The only negative was that the room was too warm, despite it being winter, we slept without the covers. Can't have any complaints really about hotel. My 'grumpy old man' bit comes with the room spec (no sign of ironing boarder or trouser press in room as detailed in hotel spec) and location (on other website) not being quite right (not on Parnell square) But this happens a lot. Overall great.
