“Vikings”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

Loved this visit ...learned about the Vikings who apparently were the worlds 1st international travelers ... Interesting to find out that they had pretty clean health habits ... Teeth picks ...hair grooming items not the barbarians of tales. Don't know why I found this so interesting....but I did...enjoyed visit....then went and had a pint...luv the Irish

“Wonderful collection of Irish archaeology (and free!)”
Reviewed 18 August 2014

The National Museum of Ireland is really small and quite cramped. That said, it houses a fantastic selection of Irish archaeological artefacts from stone age, through the Vikings up till more recent history. This is a must see for any visitor to Ireland. Exhibits change often enough to,ensure as much as possible of the full collection is exhibited. Admission is free!
