I booked the hotel for a weekend break with my Mum in her eighties and teenager daughter. I had visited the hotel a number of years ago so knew the location. For strangers there is free carparking a plus in Dublin excellent leisure centre with a pool. (which kept the teenager amused). The bar is very spacious offering an excellent variety of food at reasonable prices. Bar staff very friendly and efficient. Breakfast caters for all lovely staff . Service again excellent.
The rooms are spacious and of a standard you would expect from a Best Western. For those who like shopping there are a couple of great shopping centres a short drive or taxi journey away. The lucas line is again a five minute walk away. Would recommend for any traveller. Those looking for nightlife would have to take a taxi to the centre however it is only a minimum fare.

We travelled to Dublin to visit the zoo as it was our eldest daughter's birthday and chose the hotel purely for the location and the leisure centre. To our surprise we found the hotel spacious, our family room for 2 adults and 2 children was huge with two doubles and a single. Staff were very friendly( the French waiter made us very welcome) and the food was lovely. We stayed over the Easter weekend and enjoyed the entertainment on both the Saturday and Sunday night. A special thank-you to the band on Sunday night for making two little girls feel very special and also to the locals who danced the night away and equally entertained. The leisure centre was separate from the main hotel but it was only a few steps away through the carpark. The pool times were strict for the kids, 5.30pm was quite early but we were told this when we arrived so we could plan around this. Overall, this was a great hotel and would definitely recommend other families to stay.

Room Tip: We were on the first floor so we did hear the music from the bar below so maybe ask for a room highe...

I would say this hotel is ok, not more. Asked for twin beds and got a double. Food was ok, bar is open to public which attracted a bunch of men who were using industrial language, not what you want when you have a 9 year old.
The hotel is someway out of Dublin but the city is easily accessible via the tram. It is located in an industrial part of town so no local restaurants or bars. We chose it because it had a pool but on reflection the pool closed early so couldn't use it, so we won't use this hotel again.
If you don't mind the down market location it's okay, but we left thinking we could have done better. Also don't keep door card next to mobile fone as it wipes it clean and you need to get another, useful if the reception had told us this when they give the door cards out!

Room Tip: Ask for a room at rear or side if you want a quiet one.

We have just arrived back from this hotel today 2.4.13. I have to say the reviews are mixed but we found it to be more than adequate for a wee family break. Our room was a little stuffy but we opened the window and that helped. the hotel staff were more than friendly and were very keen to help and offer help. The pool was lovely and just what's needed for a family to have some fun. The food was lovely, warm and tasty....what more can you ask for really.

Room Tip: the Luas is only a two minute walk if you want to go into Dublin city so its a nice quiet family fri...

We stayed here for 3 nights in march! The weather was rainy the whole 4 days! The hotel is near to the Luas, which is the tram, this is about a 10min walk from the hotel and stops in Dublin centre. I would also recommend getting a bus and the Luas to the airport. On the way there we got a taxi which cost €40!!!!! Very expensive but we were not sure where we were going! On the way back we got the Luas for €2 each and then the bus to the airport €6 each!
The hotel has swimming pool but u do have to wear swim hats, our room was clean and tidy with a good shower! Only complaint being that our main lights didn't work (and yes we had the card in) we reported twice but it was not fixed during our stay. We were out quite alot so didn't matter too much! The bar area was very big and welcoming! We did not eat at the hotel
We enjoyed our stay just a pitty about the weather and would return again

Stayed here with a few mates on the 26th of March. Paid a very good price for a room with a double bed and single bed. We stayed here due to it's close proximity to the Luas line, which is about 2 or 3 minutes walk from the hotel.

The check in process was fairly quick and we threw our bags into the room and got the Luas into the city centre to head to a few pubs before going to an Ireland match in the Aviva. The room is spacious and had a decent size bathroom with a shower. There was a television, iron, tea making facilities etc. The beds were surprisingly very comfortable and I had a great sleep after a little stop off in the residence bar and a late night McDonalds (which is right across the road).

Overall it's a nice place and very reasonable in price. We will be using the place as one of our hubs for going to matches from now on.

The rooms were nice and the staff helpful. It is a 2 minute walk to the LUAS tram into Dublin. The rooms were clean and large. The only thing my wife didn't like was the shower/tub setup. She felt cold because the shower part of the tub didn't have a door and she felt a draft the whole time. I didn't really notice. They also exchange money there which was helpful, as the banks were closed for holiday on St. Patrick's day and the following Monday. We didn't eat at the bar or book breakfast, We found that B&B breakfasts are great where the chains are over priced. As true Americans we just went to the McDonald's across the street.

Room Tip: The exchange currency here which can be really helpful.
