I visited the hotel recently and my stay was very good, the room was nice and cosy and the hotel is located very close to the luas stop which is good because you have easy access to the routes going to city center. Unfortionatelly we had a bad experience at breakfast, there was this lady who was very loud and unprofessional while serving us, we tried to order our breakfast and she was very inpatient and rushing us... there was no smile and we felt like we weren't welcome, and we're not sure but we think she was talking to herself while she was walking around the tables. Dinner was nice and the bar has reasonable prices... the staff at dinner was much more pleasent and professional

We spent a weekend in the hotel recently. A cheap deal online. The décor is a little tired & in need of attention immediately. We ate in the bar, food was good as was the service & drinks. The slant of ceiling in the room caused one or two minor accidents. (Banging the head off it) Needs a warning sign on it, as it`s obvious to the eye.

Stayed here as was value for money and near a tram to get into the centre of dublin, the hotel is in a time warp but is clean and friendly. The staff were great and remembered you and struck up conversations, the room I had was actually nice, had a few issues ie. the cold tap was faulty and a scoket hanging off, I did report this and was offered a new room which I accepted but that too had issues so I moved back to the old room as I was comfortable there. The bar has a mix of regulars and guests and was ok, the price for beer is cheaper than most bars which is good, the bar staff at first dont give you a second glance but once they realist that you are staying a while get very friendly. All in all for the £ not bad value, shame about the area but would stay there again and if your on a budget you will get a hotel that should probably charge more!

This was our first time in Ireland & we were not disappointed. We were given a warm welcome & our room was maybe dated but very comfortable & had the usual extras eg. Tea&coffee making facilities, hand&shower gel, hair dryer. The room was cleaned daily to a high standard. We found breakfast excellent & Elin the waiter gave us excellent service, always with a smile. We ate on several occasions in the bar in the evening & again excellent value for money & it was a struggle to fit in a pudding, which husband did!!!! We used the leisure centre pool, the only criticism was you had to purchase a swimming hat for 3 euros each. All in all we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel & would certainly not class it as a budget hotel. We would recommend this to couples & families.

My first issue with this hotel was the rude attitude that the staff took with my partner and I. Having resolved our initial issues we went to our room, which I was equally unimpressed with. "Cozy" would be one way to describe it.... a shoe-box is how I would describe it. Given how tiny the room was I was very surprised by how cold it was. My partner turned the radiator on before we went out for a few hours, on our return the room was slightly warmer, although still very cold.

We have stayed in this hotel for a view days recently while our apartment was being renovated. The hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly, the pool is nice, clean and has never been busy during our visit. We really liked the bar and on Saturdays there was great entertainment provided. We had breakfast once and did not enjoy it, the selection on the continental breakfast was poor and the cooked breakfast was low quality. The hotel served our purpose well, however if you do not know Dublin you need to note that Ballyfermot is not the most posh suburb, no nice views from the room and you would not go for a walk or use public transport late in the evening.
