We had a nice stay at this place while we visited Dublin for 5 days. Literally a three minute walk from the rail line that gets you to where you need to go. There is a 24 hour McDonalds next to it as well. I know people don't go to Dublin for McD's but when you have kids and need a quick bite its perfect. The reception desk helped me upgrade my room free of charge, and ordered me a taxi for my trip back to the airport. The room was nice, the bathroom was nice, the establishment was nice and clean. I would recommend if you don't mind sitting on the rail for 20 minutes to get to Dublin center.

Would like to comment on the restaurant manager Frederic for his excellent manner and looking after his customers so well i often eat in the sheldon and he is always so fast and efficient. I would recommend you try the sheldon park and meet there friendly and efficient staff always willing to help no matter how big or small the problem is.

This hotel was nice with a historical feel. Comfortable and clean. The food at the in-hotel restaurant was delicious. Very close to the tram railway station, we walked to the station then boarded the tram to go downtown Dublin. The tram ride was about 45 minutes to reach downtown. Tram price was reasonable.

Food options near the hotel are limited so the in-hotel restaurant is your best option.

The Leisure Club (where the swimming pool was) was not very family friendly. If visiting this hotel, be sure to find out what hours the children can swim in the pool. Also know that you will be required to buy swimming caps before you may swim.

This was our first hotel in Ireland. The rooms were very small but clean. There was very little circulation of air and they did bring us fans. The bathroom were clean. The hotel was overall clean and the staff were really nice. It is a short walk to the train which made going into Dublin easy. I would recommend it. But don't be shocked by the size of the rooms.

Room Tip: Ask For A Fan for you room - there is no air conditioner and the air was stale!

Hi I drink and dine in your hotel at least twice e a week since you opened and have been extremely happy with everything. But somehow your manager Frederic is very rude with us either ordering or paying our bill, He was overboard with rudeness tonight and not for the time first and as we are pay customers we feel that we are are entitled to proper service and respect. I don/t see why I should have to put with Frederic bad service on an night out.

We stayed at this hotel for a few days in June. We had a couple of surprises here: first, they don't have A/C at all. They do provide fans which is nice but the rooms stay hot and humid regardless (around 80-85 degrees Fahrenheit). Second, they don't actually have a free breakfast at all. It's quite expensive to eat at their in-house restaurant. Additionally, this hotel is quite far from town which is a good thing(nice and quiet) but also a bad thing (a 25 minute tram ride to actually get into the city). Overall this hotel was ok but not what we would have hoped. Thankfully the staff seemed friendly and the rooms were relatively spacious so that helped make it not too bad.
