“Hot and noisy but great location”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 November 2013

Stayed here for the weekend. We know there was a late bar/night club attached so music till 2:30 was expected.
The heat in the rooms wasn't. It couldn't be turned down either.
The wifi was not working, again reviewed here before we got there.

The location is just get though. Just off Grafton street, loads of pubs, restaurants etc outside the door.

Not a place to stay with kids, on the weekend anyway.

Arrived at the hotel by car this morning we went in to get directions on were we could park , came out after less than 5 minutes to find our car clamped , it cost. €80.00 euro just ring a head to get directions to the car park which cost €20.00 a night to park. The hotel is tired but clean,it's in a great location for going out at night or a day shopping

Myself and the hubby stayed here after enjoying a rare night out in the capital. The location is brilliant with everything in walking distance (even in 4in heels). The rooms are basic but clean and if you manage to get the good deal that we did, then there really is little to complain about. It is attached to a very big and popular nightclub, so if you are looking for somewhere to stay on business or for to relax in while holidaying for a week or two, then it's probably not ideal.

Stayed for one night,16th November 13 . Staff were friendly. Room was nice and comfortable, also non smoking hotel. Good value for money and very central. Nice area of Dublin, narrow streets, with cafes, bars, good restaurants, generally a good buzz about the area. Hotel has nite club attached. Will stay again.

Staff didn't seem to know a lot about Dublin and were quite unfriendly. Great location = club music from the bars below ALL NIGHT LONG!! This combined with other guests' doors opening and closing until about 6am meant we spent two extremely unrelaxing nights. Our 'no smoking' room stank of cigarettes, as did our towels. Guess you get what you pay for - as one reviewer perfectly summed it up: "rooms were tired but clean". O my.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet one - not sure if they exist??

Stayed for one night, there was free car parking which is always a plus in Dublin. Check in and check out staff were friendly. Room was nice and comfortable, also non smoking hotel. Fine big bar attached to hotel which was nice. We did not eat in hotel but drinks were priced accordingly to a city. We went to concert in O2, got a taxi for about €10. Over all the stay was lovely and bar was lovely with a disco. Mind you there was only about 7 people in the whole place on a Saturday night haha

Room Tip: Choose a room away from the bar/nightclub

My husband and I spent a night in this Hotel last week.. We were tourists in our own City.. The Hotel was very central.. Good valued for what we paid.. It was what it said on the tin.. A tad tired, but clean.. Our room was fine and quiet,, as we requested. We had a lovely time.. Dinner in the bar/restaurant attached 'Break for the Border'// cheap and cheerful.. I would recommend this Hotel for any travellers wishing to spend some time in Dublin City.. sightseeing/shopping...... no frills....;Lots to see and do in Dublin's Fair City.

Room Tip: Time of year.. It was Halloween... Room on the 5th Floor was fine.
