I said back from Dublin Port to Holyhead on the Nordica, it's the best one, Premier is limited to 30 people, the service on the 15.10 ferry in Premier was absolutely brilliant, sadly I didn't get the guys name, but he was a North Walian guy, young with bold head, he was brilliant, a great wait earned very helpful. Food in Premier was fab, it's a slow very but if you have to ho on the slow boat, go on this one and book premier in advance!

Sailed on the Adventurer last week on a trip to Ireland with wife and two young children. £25 all in for meals and drinks on the family meal deal (3 kids meals and 2 adult + drinks). Staff were excellent, most helpful and friendly we have encountered on a ferry. Catering staff very helpful, genuine and always willing to help where they could. Crafts and storytelling kept the kids entertained throughout the trip, which means a lot when you have a long drives at both sides of the Irish sea. This is the second time we have sailed on the Stena Adventurer and both times have been excellent.

We will never be travelling with Stena Line again!

We have just returned from a Diamond Holidays tour to Ireland and travelled on the Stena Adventurer outward and back as Foot Passengers.

I can only describe the treatment as being akin to the Victorian 3rd Class rail journeys, very much "cattle class". In the 21st Century they could do so much to make the experience much better.

Lack of information, both in the terminal and on board ship. One big free for all in getting off as no-one heeded the instructions for foot passengers to wait. Why aren't foot passengers taken off first? There are no disembarkation notices, and people carried on talking over the too quiet announcements.

Sat on buses at the terminal waiting while as many passengers as possible could be stuffed on board. And on the ship, for 10 minutes or more, they keep you waiting it seemed for all other vehicles to leave.

Ship has far too few toilets.

Food and drink extremely expensive. Hint: Lower the prices and sell more?

On return to Holyhead luggage was thrown onto the belts two or more cases across the belt, causing several to fall off. Two belts in operation, with no way of knowing what belt your case was on.

I could go on; but in future we'll either use Irish Ferries or Fly. And I thought the flying experience was bad....

Very comfortable with plenty of good seating areas, food is good although a little pricey. Plenty of toilets and outside decks for the smokers. Staff very good and helpful.

At £5.00 day return on a Tuesday from Holyhead, a trip to Dublin is well worth it. Even at £10.00 return on the other weekdays Stena are offering a cracking deal over the summer. The ferry yesterday was virtually empty, it was on time and as the sea was calm and the weather beautiful, the trip in itself was pleasant. The long stay car park at Holyhead is well worth £7.00 for the day and a free shuttle bus to the terminal is quick.
