Description: PROMOTERS STATEMENT AND CONCEPTBagots Hutton is a space that is flexible in nature, a restaurant one moment, a funky wine bar the next. It is a venue which moves away from the established idea of a different venue for shopping, eating and socialising.Bagots Hutton Wine Bar/Shop/Restaurant will comprise of a 65 seater cafe wine bar occupying the entire basement floor space. Within its open plan design there will be, through its designs and layout, two areas, which although complimentary, will have distinctive feels and moods. The front area situated toward the main entrance will cater for an immediate daytime trade with a busy cafe feel inside a boutique styled retail unit which will provide the sale of fine wines, teas and coffee everything you eat and drink in Bagots Hutton you can also purchase to enjoy at home. We will also provide food in the style of antipasti's, cheese plates, meat plates, crostini's and salads in an open performance deli/bar which will be an integral part of the visual experience and cuisine orientated mood. To the rear of the space there will be a feeling of a relaxed wine lounge adopting comfortable low seating and lower atmospheric lighting. The wine bar and deli bar which extends to both areas will split the two areas, with wine/tea/coffee bar to the front, deli bar to the rear.Bagots Hutton will build the bridge between the Georgian and the modern New York style cafe. This is a modern renovation that incorporates classical fittings and fixtures. Within its modern functionality there will be elements of an age past through its use of period French textiles and industrial period furniture.

Not sure what the fuss is about this place. Granted we only had the pizza, they were tasty but very doughy. We had to ask for water 3 times before it arrived and the wine list is very poor. Campo Viejo which is €10 a bottle in Tesco is €9 per glass here! Great buzz in the place but definitely style over substance.

Dropped in here last Week for a glass of vino, took advantage of their amazing 'cheesy Tuesday' deal. Didn't want to drink red and the knowledgeable owner gio suggested a Viognier to match the complimentary cheese board, boy was he right! Fabulous coupling of cheese and wine. The place was buzzing even though everywhere else in the vicinity was dead.
Went for a pizza too (didn't have to twist my arm!) and it was easily the best pizza I've ever had in Dublin. Fact.

Definitely one of the greatest relaxed dinning/drinking options in town,
LOVE IT !!!
And the tunes were saaaavage!

I kept meaning to write this review as I have been to Bagots a few times now and simply haven't had a chance for some reason. Until now.
I love coming to Bagots Hutton... usually it's been to meet the girls for chats and gossip over a lovely glass of vino although we actually had our office Christmas Party here and it was super fun.
It was relaxed, as much as Christmas can be, with the place actually being a little gem later in the evening if you fancy a boogie as the guys clear a small dance floor so it's really neat like that.
The platters were simple, yummy, and quite reasonably priced too. Perfect as an accompaniment to drinks.
The wine menu is extensive and the guys are so helpful helping you to decide what to go for. I have popped in to buy the odd bottle of wine when a last minute present has been needed and found Giovanni, one of the owners, hugely helpful in choosing a gift which saved me more times than I wish to admit.
The cocktails are really beautiful, not watered down at all, but made with lots of love and thought put into them.
I see Bagots now do pizza's and have heard these are delicious so I will definitely be paying them a visit over the coming month. Highly recommend this place!

My mum and I went here on Saturday evening after an afternoon in the theatre. The weather was miserable so it was great to get in to the lovely cosy atmosphere. We weren't starving so got a pizza and a bruschetta between us. The bruschetta was absolutely delicious - so tasty. The pizza was also very good. Great selection of wine, great location. Friendly, welcoming staff. What's not to love. Will definitely be back.
