“Amazing and authentic Chinese food”
Reviewed 5 December 2013

If you're looking for an authentic Chinese place, look no more! The food is delicious and the selection is vast, as any real Chinese place ;)

I love having Chinese food and it's hard finding spots that serve the real thing, but this place is amazing.

We asked the waiter to recommend what to have, we explained our likes and dislikes and the recommendations were spot on. We asked for spicy traditional food, and we got beef in chili oil and fried chicken with chilies and peanuts. Both dishes were excellent.

We ordered as starters pork steamed dumplings, and the flavor was delicious, highly recommended too.

All in all, I loved this place and look forward to my next visit.

“Very glad I found it”
Reviewed 4 December 2013

We found M & L by accident, walking by on the way to somewhere else when we seen it & thought we would give it a go. Glad we did, place was busy but we only had to wait a minute for our table.

The staff were friendly so we asked what they thought we should have, gave very good recommendations, shrimp & squid in batter were the best I have eaten. If you go you have to try the fried rice & green beans.

Friendly staff & service and it was good quality ingredients & food.

“Excellent Chinese”
Reviewed 5 November 2013

This is more like a chinese canteen style restaurant than a fancy fine dining joint but the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful and all in all for a casual meal we couldn't fault it.

“Best Chinese in Dublin”
Reviewed 30 October 2013 via mobile

My partner is Chinese and this is her favorite Chinese restaurant in Dublin - we had Peking duck served with salad and rice - plus a prawn tofu fu - tea brought to the Table in arrival - this is an excellent value establishment and the food authentic Chinese style - this was our 5th visit so I can confidently score 5 stars - !

“Fantastic authentic Szechuan food”
Reviewed 11 October 2013

Best Chinese in Dublin (and probably in Ireland) by a MILE!!!!!
Ignore the English menu, which will give you bog standard Irish Chinese restaurant stuff (chicken in lemon etc).
Just ask one of the waiters (Stephen is particularly friendly) to recommend items from the Chinese menu, say how spicy you like your food etc, and you will be in for an adventure. The value for money is fantastic - we (4 people) had a feast (scrumptious fish, lamb and chicken dishes) for 57 euros.
Nearly all the customers are Chinese, so they must be doing something right. The people on the table next to us got some amazing looking food, so I asked Stephen to write down the names of the dishes (in English and Chinese) on a piece of paper, which will be kept safely in my wallet until we get the chance to go there again.
