“Excellent food”
Reviewed 11 May 2014 via mobile

Really good Japanese food, in lovely surroundings and with great service. Made a good counterpoint to the rich Irish food we'd had everywhere else. Sake cocktails were also delicious.

“Order the Cocktails”
Reviewed 1 May 2014

I love to go to new places and have sushi, and following the notes from Trip Advisor that said Banyi was the best Japanese in Dublin - they were not wrong!
We got a chef's special sushi and sushami and it was to die for - the eel (which is always my favourite anywhere anyway) was ABSOLUTELTY delicious - I had to order more. The cocktails were great too, just try them all! And lastest but by no means least we finished by sharing a Green Tea Brulee - I wish we had got one each, who knew a tea tea brulee could work so well! Oh and ALL the staff were very attentive!

“Excellent Sashimi platter”
Reviewed 25 April 2014 via mobile

There is a number of Japanese style Izakaya and restaurants sprouting up around Dublin CBD. This one is superb. A friend and I shared large sashimi platter with an amazing array of fresh fish, prawns and octopus. We also shared the chef's selection of Nigiri Aburi sushi. Superb. The sake selection is restricted to two types and Japanese tea (Nihonsha) is teabag. Great atmosphere and superb fresh food.

We went for a birthday dinner and really enjoyed everything from the Teriyaki chicken to the sushi and the deserts! The food was really delicious authentic Japanese cuisine which I would recommend to anyone interested in trying this kind of food. Staff was very warm, helpful and polite. Beautiful restaurant and a great location.

“Nice sushi”

Two of us had lunch on a Monday.
All food was delicious and presented well. Service was super friendly and very good. Would return here as good sushi is rare in Dublin.
