The room was clean, but small and old fashioned, especially the bathroom. Upon booking we informed the staff it was the start of our honeymoon. We were unable to sleep due to the incredibly loud band playing in the bar right below our room. Very thin walls and floors. When we asked the night staff about the noise we were told we should have asked for a quiet room! We were also informed the band would not finish until 1.30am. We asked to be moved and were told it was not possible. We literally left the hotel to get away from the noise. The restaurant staff are impersonal and very busy. The next morning we were given a free breakast worth 5euro to make up for the night before. We personally would never stay here again. Ever.

Outside the meal deal did not match the menu. The prices were double posted on a bill board. The order was taken for a jacket potato and rare steak and we had chips and well done arrived at the table! All 3 meals were poor quality including lumpy tasteless mash and mushy peas and overcooked fish. We were still having our drinks but had said we did not want dessert and the bill arrived when we had not asked for it!! Left a bad taste in our mouths and would strongly say do not go there. Drinks were also pricey.

A lovely old gent told us of the "beautiful" pub down the street for us to have a bite at and so we stepped in for a quick dinner on our first evening after the Jameson Distillery tour. While the food wasn’t spectacular, it was okay and a good spot for a pint of Guinness, some Irish Stew and the bacon garlic bread was interesting. That said.. I wouldn't go back.
