The service is appalling. And the place is stomach churningly dirty. It has potential but the staff don't seem to care. Would avoid!

We had some coffee and cake here in mid-August. The baked goods were good, but the coffee was cold and had to be made again. The staff seemed that they were stressed about having to work...a pleasant attitude and a smile often helps!!! Mannings (nearby) is a good alternative.

I've been here a few times on my lunch break, but won't be going again. Staff are not particularly pleasant, the don't smile and look like they don't want to be there. I hate the way they shout out that your coffee is ready and then just leave it on the counter, even if you're the only people there they won't bring it over to you. Sometimes they don't tell you it's ready and your coffee is just left there, and you have to go up and figure out which one is yours, awkward. The food is nothing special. Only go there if you're stuck/it's a Sunday. Otherwise check out Arthurs/Mannings/the cafe near NCAD - there are plenty of better options.

My mother and I were looking for a light lunch before leaving Dublin and stopped into Caffe Noto. It was a welcome change from the heavy pub food we'd been eating. The chicken and roasted pepper ciabatta was fabulous, as was the bean and vegetable soup. The building itself was open and spacious, with large picture windows letting in natural light. It was a very nice way to end our stay.

We stopped for an afternoon coffee break during our walking tour of Dublin. Nice atmosphere, good coffee and pastries -- the chai is good too. The staff were very nice. They were starting to close up, but they didn't hurry us. Recommended as a nice place to take a break or meet friends.
