We heard about this place from one of the drivers at City Sightseeing. The food was delicious, no complaints and the price was the cheapest we paid for the whole time we were in Dublin! Definitely worth popping in for a quick bite to eat whilst discovering the city!

First of all we did not eat here, we only had a drink after eating in the restaurant across the road. This place does not mess around, its not trying to be anything other than a pub and its good at that.

Barman was very good, we would go back.

Recommended by the Hop On-Hop Off bus drivers (red bus) we went there for lunch. Just steps off O'Connell Street, we had the Beef Stew made with Guinness & a pint special. It was one of the best meals we had during our visit to Ireland. Great atmosphere...not too loud and we totally enjoyed the experience. Friendly staff too. If we are ever in Dublin again, I will put this place on my list of must visits.

On our last night in Dublin, we were at the Academy Plaza Best Western. Went on OConnell St looking for a pub to have a beer or 2 and a lite dinner. In that area, pubs are a little scarce. Brannigan's was about a block away and fit the bill to a tee. It is on Church Strret, right off O'Connell. It offered about a half dozen drafts, had about 6-8 pub dinner offerings and a few "starters". A nice woman patron suggested the Beef and Guiness pie - it was fantastic and as my wife and I had a late lunch, we were both satisfied with the split. The pub was clean, played very soft music (we could hear each other in a normal conversation), and had a decent clientele. We went with another couple who had fish and chips, which they said was delicious. And best of all, the prices were reasonable. I would go again.
