“Really lovely cafe hidden on Capel Street.”
Reviewed 10 April 2014

Great to see such a funky cafe on Capel Street. The interiors and decor are lovely and artistic, with fairy lights, paintings and fluffy cushions scattered throughout. The desserts are too die far! And seriously good presentation, they almost look too good to eat! The coffee was good but i was a bit disappointed with my mocha as it tasted more like a cappuccino than a mocha.. But other than that I really liked the place and the stafff were lovely and friendly

“Back to Basics”
Reviewed 9 March 2014

In a world of express everything, "Mish Mash" has made an art of returning to the first principles of a good coffee shop, the coffee is freshly roasted and freshly made. The food is made to order not " to go" and brings a whole new meaning to the term "home-made". The music reflects the ambience, which is laid back with a large serving of genuine empathy for the visitor. The decor is unique in its simplicity and imagination. In the melee of Dublin franchise cafes, this independent Coffee Shop has rediscovered the original coffee shop experience.

“Cosy, funky, great for before/after movies. Apple tart + atmosphere!”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

A lovely neighbourhood cafe set in the very city centre, in Capel Str/Parnell Str, 1 min walk from cineworld, Ireland largest cinema. If you prefer an artistic rather than popcorny atmosphere of the multiplex cinema to enjoy your pre-movie coffee this is the place. Service is very friendly! The interior is tasteful, prices are ok and the apple cake with cinnamon is to die for! served with vanilla icecream, a substantial dessert, you really feel it is homemade. Good music (they sometimes have DJs), not too loud, you can enjoy chatting with friends or reading a book. The only think that could be improved is the chairs - most of them are quite hard and without any back rest. Good selection of teas. The place is full of atmosphere, support it, so that it stays, it's the only nice cafe in that area! Great that it is open till 9pm incl. Sundays, a lot of cafes in Ireland close around 6pm.

Reviewed 1 March 2014 via mobile

Stumbled across this cafe in an area we visit regularly . I came with my Argentina boyfriend who loved this little retro spot . It's a cool little cosy spot, quite unique, and very funky . Warm welcome , irish healthy food, lovely cake too :) lovely coffee, cool natural range of drinks from John Lemon. A nice mate to find in Dublin . Pop in you ll love it like we did .

“cozy place, lovely atmosphere & delicious food”
Reviewed 7 February 2014

I've been there twice so far and can't wait to come back to try the other cakes & desserts. First by myself then with company. Both were nice. Atmosphere is lovely with the kind waitresses always wearing a smile. Coffee is also great and very fair priced. Wi-fi also pretty good.

Don't leave the place without trying the carrot cake. Seriously.
