This is my 2nd trip to Dublin and I love the pubs. This one is still my favorite. It is usually packed with tourists but isn't that what the Temple Bar area is all about? Ground floor is usually packed but if it's good trad Irish music then wander up stairs. It's smaller but you may find it a bit more relaxing. The food served is what us Americans call Irish food and it's good and not as expensive as many other nearby pubs and restaurants. But the music is what's it's all about here. If you're thinking of the music pub crawl, this is where you begin. Cheers
