If anyone knows JFK Industrial Estate, well let’s say it’s known as ‘the land that time forgot’! We’re really on the ‘hind tit’ out here when it comes to amenities.

However all is not lost if you’re seeking good food, reasonably priced with fast service – Perhaps a bit quirky for the Irish pallet but it genuine Italian food prepared by the friendliest Italians anywhere. A slice of authenticity no less.

Tucked away in an industrial estate almost beside the Farm Centre, near FBD, I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough for lunchtime work time food.

The Tiramisu, is to die for!

One of these days I was on the Bluebell area for work related stuff and I discovered by accident a place called Flavour Of Italy. Since I love italian food I decided to walk in. When I entered the staff was very nice and friendly and directed me to the lunch room, which I didn't even know existed. When I arrived there I had a pleasant surprise. I tried a vegetarian pasta and it was one of the best meals I ever had. It was creamy and the sauce was very very tasty.so I thought that it was very good value for money. I had a coffee afterwards and I thought it was very good and not expensive at all. I have to say that Flavour Of Italy is a nice place to eat when you're in the area, so if you like italian food you should definitely go ahead and try it.

I have asked to Giuseppe and the chef Sebastiano to cater the lunch four our wedding in February 2014. I had a mix of Italian an Irish guests and we all were very satisfied with the food, but especially impressed by the cake. We had different type of focaccia and pizza, omelette, mozzarella and tomato skewres and much more, and it was all very tasty and well presented. The cake... the cake was epic! It was a simple but very tasty Italian fruit cake, made with fresh cream and fresh fruit. It was beautiful and so tasty that even my old aunt (a woman very difficult to please when it comes to food) had two portions. I am looking forward now to go and do my cooking class!
