Owner description: Croke Park has been at the heart of Irish sporting life for over 100 years. With a capacity of 82,300, this magnificent stadium is actually the third largest in Europe. Its size is only part of its greatness, however, as you’ll discover on this eye-opening, access-all-areas tour. From quirky insights into why Croke Park’s grass is always greener to learning about defining moments in Irish history, the passionate Tour Guides will take you on an inspiring journey around our national stadium. Some of the highlights include taking a seat in the VIP area, getting a birds-eye view from the media centre, sneaking a peek inside the dressing rooms, and of course, walking in the footsteps of legends as you go pitchside through the players’ tunnel! Worth a trip for the views of the city - and it gives a cool perspective on the GAA grounds themselves too.
The musuem is worth spending some time wandering around in too.
There's a good interactive sports area that thew kids will love.

I could have spent all day in the museum - This brought back so many memories of so many great games, players down the years it was fabulous. The interactive area is a lot of fun (though as someone who has lived abroad for 25+ years - the hurling got embarassing). The tour was great but I felt there was something missing. The video at the start was informative, the tour covered all the ground but I felt there could have been a few anecdotes thrown in ... .it was a bit like a school course that the main facts had to be covered. Also a small touch like a replica trophy at the presentation area would have gone down a treat. Still a lovely visit and only I'd a train to catch, I'd still be in the museum.

We knew very little about the GAA and the football and hurling played at the stadium however by the end of the tour we felt we understood another aspect of Irish history and life. Our guide, John, was excellent - very knowledgeable and engaging and he made the tour very interesting with his wealth of information. We explored the museum which was also very informative and then had coffee and cake in the cafe before our tour so it was about a 3 hour visit. We walked to the stadium from the city centre which took about 20 mins. We would definitely recommend this tour.

The tour gives a behind the scenes of what croke park is like for the players, the press and visiting dignitaries. Ye visit dressing rooms, players lounge, media centre, the players tunnel, walk along pitch side.

After my kids missing a school trip earlier this year and listening to their pals telling them how wonderful the Croke Park tour is took our turn today, for the stadium tour and museum visit, we will return soon for the Skyline tour.

We booked on line so a family visit only costs 16 euro. We had all visited Croke Park many times over the years but it was great to get the" behind the scenes" tour.

Our tour was at 3pm which ended around 4.30, the museum closes at 5pm which did not leave much time for exploring the great museum and games area.
Our guide was very informative and chatted to everyone. The video at the start was very interesting.
Although we arrived half an hour before our tour began I would recommend arriving as early as possible or booking an earlier visit as so much to see. Worth noting a visit to museum, only, is free so we plan to return soon again to look at everything.

We did not eat here but the in-house restaurant looked good.
Plenty of free parking onsite.

We would recommend The Croke Park stadium tour to anyone and look forward to returning again.
