We had a lovely stay recently at this B&B. It was really comfortable and the breakfast was very good! It was also in a good location for visiting Dublin City Centre! Everything was just perfect - thank you!!

We had 3 total couples staying at the fine B&B for 5 days. The hosts met us at the door with wonderful warm scones and hot coffee..which was needed after long flights from the US. I have never met a more accommodating group of people. The breakfast was amazing and cooked fresh to order...it was enough to last you until dinner with a snack in between. The rooms are very very clean as is the bedding..that is my number one thing..cleanliness! The train was a short walk around the corner into Dublin and I cannot imagine staying anywhere else!!

Family of 4 stayed here in march and really liked it. We were allowed in a bit early by Bernadette who is just a gem of a lady. We had the family room, 3 beds, perfect for our family with 2 teens. The place is clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet given its closer location to the street and bus routes. All I could hear from our room were birds. Their location is perfect to just grab the bus to the city or airport. The breakfast is full Irish awesome with the best homemade scones we had in our 12 days touring. Highly recommended.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Azalea Lodge. The room was quite comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious, I commented that I don't think I've ever seen eggs that perfect! The bathroom was spacious and spotless. The location is great, close enough to walk to the City Centre yet the bus stop is right down the block if the walk seems too daunting or if the weather doesn't cooperate. The location was also convenient for the airport bus which I appreciated since I had an early departure flight. Bernadette is a gracious and knowledgeable hostess; she was very helpful and her family was quite pleasant. It was a pleasure to stay there and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Azalea Lodge. I hope to return!

My husband and our two adult children stayed at Azalea Lodge in October. It was the most wonderful experience! Bernice and her husband are such warm and special people; they were so very helpful and kind. Our breakfasts were absolutely wonderful!! I can't say enough good things about the Azalea Lodge. If I ever get to go back to Ireland, you can be sure I will stay there again! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Room Tip: The rooms in the back are quieter.

We stayed with Brenadette and Padraig for 7 nights and loved our stay. The home is so warm and friendly and close to a bus stop to The City Centre or the Airport. We had a wonderful made to order breakfast every morning and it was so fresh and good. Padraig really knows how to make his eggs and sausage and bacon. Plus we had homemade scones every morning made by Bernadette. They were so very helpful in eating places, trips to take, and anything Dublin! It was like we had a tour director for free. Would recommend this if you like the B and B as we do.
Thanks again to our hosts for making us feel so welcome. Also loved Thunders bakery only several blocks from Azalea. Plus there is a Tesco market, Spar market and 5 places to eat in the area.

Room Tip: We were in the family room in the back and did not have any trouble with noise. There were only 2 o...

It's on a main road but I am a sound sleeper. Room is small basically the bed! It's not a sitting room but this slight issue is made up for, by downstairs sitting room with tea, coffee and biscuits and a TV . There is as well a TV in own room. Bathroom similarly tiny no where to put your own toiletries but again the water is hot and plentiful. So a minor gripe.

Breakfast is great fresh squeezed OJ and fruit salad and cooked breakfast to order.
BeIng on main road public transport is almost outside door. Very helpful owners.
