We had a nice evening with a mix of Irish dancing, ballad singing by folk groups and a funny Irish comedian who looked like he should be a leprecaun. We had included 3 course dinners which was very good. The fish chowder and lamb stew were delicious. Even though the place was a little touristy, we would definitely recommend the show to give a look at local Irish culture.
We had a three course dinner. The menu had three choices for each course. We had salmon which was an excellent choice. The area is known for its fresh salmon and other
fish choices.
Went there on a Trafalgar coach tour. The meal was delicious with extremely efficient service. But the highlight was the wonderful show. The singers were phenomenal as were the dancers but the very best part was the comedian. We never stopped laughing at his entire routine. A must do when in Dublin!
OK, so many people will simply love this kind of mass dining with booze & slick entertainment. My wife and I were also with a CIE tour. However not to our taste; and the entertainment and food service made us feel like we were being processed as tourists.
beautiful old thatched building.we were greeted by the owner who told my group all the history of the place.we were seated and had a complimentary drink.the food was excellent and served up very effeciently. show was better than i could imagined.comedian was very funny and the music and dancing was superb.a good two hours long so great value for money.would highly reccommend.
