This is a very nice hotel but my room had become a little shabby. The veneer to the desk/table top was chipped and worn, there was a quite visible mark on a column, and the woodwork in the bathroom was bare in places. The door stop in the bathroom came loose and the shower gell dispenser was loose, and left unfilled one day. The TV was an old boxy one, though it work fine.
Despite this, it was such a nice room for the money paid that I enjoyed being there. The room was a good size, with a recessed area with a glass-topped table, and a balcony. There was no air conditioning. The balancony door could be opened to cool the room however.
There is free wifi in the lobby but not in the room.
The hotel in located in a plaza that was redeveloped before the recession. It has suffered a bit since with businesses closed. But there is a good-quality supermarket right underneath the hotel and a couple of nice eating places close by. I did not use them but they are fine, to judge from appearances.More
