“Great B&B and very convenient for the airport”
Reviewed 8 June 2014

We chose the B&B by using TripAdvisor reviews, and we weren't disappointed. Tom was a superb host, giving us a great welcome when we arrived. He also gave us great advise on getting around Dublin (even though we were there for just one night). The bus service into town is very close and just 2.35 Euro. Our room was nice, with a large bathroom. The breakfast was fab in the morning.

This was just an excellent place to stay while visiting Dublen. Very close to the airport for both arrival and departure and the buses into two literally are at your front door. Tus, you are comforatably away from the chaos and noise of downtown, but it's easy reached. Tom was a great host, helpful in every way. Did not see Sally Ann that much as she was busy making us excellent breakfasts. Room was clean quiet and quite large with extra seating and a desk-not that common in European B&Bs.

My wife and stayed at the Flyover B&B for five days and it was the perfect spot for exploring Dublin. The bus literally stops at the front door - how convenient is that. And the number 16 bus carries on right to the airport which is only 15 minutes and 2.35 euros away. It is about the same distance and price to get downtown.

Tom and Sallyann cook a fantastic breakfast to order each morning. And the dining area is stocked with a huge array of cereals, milk, yougurt, juice and more teas (herbal and regular) than you can shake a stick at. At the dining room is open 24 hours a day - making it perfect for when you come back to the B&B at night and want something before you go to bed.

I am light sleeper and requested the room at the back and it was totally peaceful.

Can't say much more - we found the Flyover to be the perfect place to use as our home base for 5 days exploring Dublin and vicinity.

Stayed one might at this BandB. Very near Dublin airport, so I hopped on a bus just outside the airport, and took the short ride to the BandB.This was very handy since I had to wait a few hours for the rest of my party to fly in to meet me on a later flight. I was able to take a nap while I waited for them. Then we were able to purchase things we needed from convenient nearby shopping that we could walk to. Later, we enjoyed a near by pub for dinner and drinks. We walked there, too! So convenient after the long flight. We spent the night, and woke to a wonderful Irish breakfast, and we were off in our rental car to tour Ireland! Wonderful to be refreshed and excited to start our adventure! Great BandB and wonderful hosts! Will return!

Room Tip: I think any of the rooms would be fine. Check with the hosts about floor choice.

Situated within walking distance of city buses and within just a few minutes drive to the airport, he Flyover B&B is convenient and full of pleasantries. It provides guests with the privacy of a hotel in a home like environment. The rooms were clean, well sized and equipped with tv, dvds and Wifi. Tom and Sally made our daughter feel right at home with youthful bedding, stuffed toys and Disney themed cups. There were multiple breakfast choices, all of which were very good. Tom provided useful information about transportation into Dublin, made a successful recommendation for lunch at the Beaumont House, and graciously stored our excess luggage for a week while we toured Ireland. Tom had an American electrical adapter available for our use. He also identified and arraigned a taxi at 4am to take us to the airport.

Flyover B&B is a very good option in Dublin. Tom is a great host, very helpful and nice. The B&B is very clean, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the guests are invited to enjoy the extensive tea and coffee selection. The breakfast is very good. It is very easy to reach the airport from this place. There is a bus stop just outside front door.

We stayed from 4/18/2014- 4/21/2014. A really convenient location with a bus stop right in front of the house. Tom was always really helpful and nice. It is kept clean and the breakfast was great! Will stay again if we come back to Dublin!
