My husband and I took a canal dinner cruise last evening. It was just brilliant. The staff are lovely and the food is great. The weather was so great that we really enjoyed sitting on deck watching the world go by. We went from grand canal dock to Charlemont place. And watching the crew work the locks was very interesting and also attracted a lot of attention from passerbys as well. This is something not to miss by both locals and visitors. Enjoy

My boyfriend and I took this trip on Saturday night for something different to do. It was so nice. The crew were really welcoming and we were all invited to sit on deck before we took off. The boat went from Charlemont Place and went down through all the locks till we got to the Grand Canal basin It was so nice to see how the water fills up and each lock andj the boat goes down a level to take us through each lock. The service and food was really good and the wine got us into a very good buzz. The boat was full and everyone appeared to really enjoy the experience. Landing in Grand canal basin shows you how Dublin has improved all the lights from the Bord Gais theatre, the Marker hotel and all the cute restaurants by the water gave a lovely ending to our arrival by boat at the Grand canal basin Strongly recommented

I attended an industry night on the Cadhla, the canal restaurant on November 14th. We were extremely impressed with the boat. The staff were efficient, friendly and all done with a smile. The food was excellent and the experience of slowly moving down the canal watching the city from a unique angle amazed us all. I would recommend everyone to try this, tourist or local in Dublin. well done guys.

We had booked this on a deals voucher, making a great saving. You board the boat in front of the Dublin Hilton Hotel and it takes you on a leisurely journey through various canal locks ending up at the Grand Canal Basin near the Bord Gais Theatre. The 3 course dinner was excellent. My only quibble would be that the tables are very close together, but that is unavoidable given the narrow dimensions of the Canal and consequently of the boat. There was plenty of time in between courses to go up on top and soak up the atmosphere of slowly chugging through a busy city.
