“Lovely appartment. Very warm welcome and comfortable stay.”
Reviewed 6 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We were welcomed by Elaine who was friendly and attentive. The appartment was clean, very well equiped and comfortable. The welcome pack of eggs, bacon, milk, tea/coffee etc was very welcome. Two convenient shops (Tesco express and a convenience store) either side of the apartment were well stocked. Bus into and back from Dublin Centre stops almost outside the front door - Beware though, buses only accept cash AND NO NOTES - coins only. The journey was just over 2 euros each way. We couldnt work out how to use the TV though, probably our failing not Elaine, but there is so much to do in Dublin we were in the appt often enough for this to be a problem. The information pack is a little out of date (the 161 Restaurant next door has closed dow) but I'm sure easily fixed.
Visit Powerscourt Gardens and waterfall. Beautiful place, but a car is recommended to travel between both as a cab cost 40E each way and 15E to get from the waterfall to the House - although walking is probably the ideal mode of transport if you are able.
Cant recommend enough.

Management Response

Hi Diane,
Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm very grateful and you were all lovely to host.
My apologies about the TV, I should have demonstrated how to use it at the beginning of the stay.
You are always welcome to stay again.
All the best,
Elaine

This apartment was exactly as stated . about 40 minutes walk to centre but bus stops exactly in front of apartment. Everything in apartment was in good working order, water, tv, appliances , water heaters, comfortable beds, kitchen full of utensils. The only weak point was the wifi, as it was not reachable from all rooms and kept turning on/ off. Next to apartment Tesco, bakery, butcher , fish shop, hairdresser. I recommend this apartment as it is in a quiet area yet not far from City centre and areas like Dalkey, Glendallough, Wicklow.

“Ideal localation to explore Dublin”

Firstly excellent communication from Elaine on the lead up to our visit. The apartment is as described, very clean and ideal for two couple or a family wanting a separate room for kids, although I would say the place is better suited for adults.

Parking was provided which is a great plus for Dublin, we picked up a car at the airport as part of our week long tour and just left the car parked for during our stay in Dublin. We walked from the apartment to downtown and in fact pretty much everywhere. Buses stop right outside if you feel less inclined to exercise. A great place to stay
