“Interesting and fun!”

We lucked out to have Pat for our tour guide on a four hour walking tour. He is a wonderful historian who also knows how to tell a good story. In our group were a couple of Dublin locals and some children with parents. It is quite a talent to entertain and teach some history to such a diverse group. Many thanks Pat...we loved our time with you!

“The Best of Dublin”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 August 2014

We took a "Best of Dublin" with Pat Liddy's Walking Tours on July 31st. This is a great way to get up close and see the sites of downtown Dublin. Our guide,Ciarán, a recent Trinity College grad, provided an excellent history of the various sites we visited. He combined humour with his knowledgeable commentary which made for a relaxed and memorable afternoon. Highly recommended!

“recommended - worth doing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 August 2014

We did the general walking tour which was free as part of the 'hope on hop off bus tour' - what great value. (I think you can also book and pay a fee if you don't have a Big Bus Tour ticket). The lady that led the tour was friendly and informative without being boring - injected a bit of humour here and there. It helped us get our bearings and we went back to a couple of places/areas later on our own, that we probably would have missed if we hadn't done the tour. I wish I could remember her name, but the guide did a great job.

“Best way to see Dublin”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 August 2014

We had a great 1.5 to 2 hour walking tour with Gerry today. He is very good! Knowledgeable and witty. Best part is that if you buy the Green Bus (Dublin bus) hop on hop off tour for €19 the walking tour is included, otherwise you pay €10 for the walking tour only. Highly recommended

“Good Experience,Worth doing”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 August 2014

My partner and I took our second walking tour of Dublin today on the South side of the city,We started Opposite the Old Church in Suffolk St which is now a tourist information centre. Our Guide was Joe a mature gentleman with a lovely quiet style, his knowledge of Dublin and the historic facts were very interesting, We visited Trinity College, where "The Book Of Kells"is on show( not part of the tour)The Bank of Ireland at College Green,Temple Bar, where Dublin's night life thrives,City Hall, Memorial Gardens and St,Patrick's Cathedral. and lots of tit-bits in between. It was a very pleasant afternoon but maybe a bit historical for us this time.
