“D1 catches a break at 147”
Reviewed 11 July 2014

I have been keen to try the 147 Deli for a while, I finally got in to try it out today before the lunchtime rush and it was simply fantastic.
I had the pulled pork and as a lover of pulled pork sandwiches, I have to say it was one of the most succulent I've ever tasted. It had a bit of spice to it. The bap was fresh and lightly crusted with a generous helping of salad.
There was a braised beef on offer that looked delicious, my colleague had it, he said it was beautiful.
The staff were really friendly in there, quite chatty. It was an order at the counter, no waiting around, nice coffee and pay on the way out. 20 minutes in and out. I meant to take a menu to see what else they had but was distracted so a revisit is now on the cards.
The seating was well laid out, not as cramped as most Delis, the fit out and decor classy and modern. It's a welcome addition to that part of town. Very nice indeed. 10/10

“Amazing sambos”
Reviewed 10 July 2014

First visit to 147 Deli today and had one of the best sandwiches ever: mine, a pulled pork and slaw and my friend had the smoked salmon. Both were excellent and such good value too. It's a really nice place and staff were friendly and obliging too. Looking forward to the return visit, will be dreaming about that sambo in the meantime.

“Welcome addition to Parnell st.”
Reviewed 5 July 2014

Stopped in here this afternoon to get out of the rain, the warm and cosy atmosphere helped! I just had tea and a scone so can't comment on the sambos others have raved about, but they did look amazing. It was all a little chaotic around the till area with people waiting and no one too sure what was going on, with one guy trying to do everything and two other staff behind the counter looking very unsure - so this slowed the service down a bit here. However the staff were extremely friendly, and my order was carried out to a table for me. The scone was fresh and delicious, looking forward to trying out one of those sandwiches the next time.

“A cafe with a difference.”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

147 Deli is located in Parnell St Dublin 1, close to North Great George's St. You can eat in or order to take away. The sandwiches here are a mini meal in themselves and reasonable value. There is a variety to suit everyone. Everything is freshly prepared from scratch. Coffee is good too. Barry and his staff work very hard to produce food of a very high standard. 147 Deli is a very welcome addition to Dublin's north inner city. Be prepared to queue if you arrive between 12.30 and 13.30. To be recommended.

“Amazing food”
Reviewed 20 June 2014 via mobile

147 deli is most defiantly the best place on the north side of the city centre to get lunch. The sandwiches and salads are beautiful and the soups change regularly.
