My husband and I fell in LOVE with Ireland & overall were satisfied with this hotel. We would definitely stay again. Pros: true Dublin feel, loved the look of the "old" interior & beautiful exterior, great customer service, breakfast (although we did not eat) looked amazing, great location; 10-15 min walk or 6-8Euros for a cab to many attractions. Cons: we did not rent a car but there weren't many spots for those who will have one, walls are thin- hope your neighbors aren't noisy.

This was our first stop of a two-week trip through Ireland and Northern Ireland. We were so relieved to arrive at Baggot Court after surviving our first ever experience driving in a manner opposite to everything we know, in a city with tight streets and cars parked everywhere ... unfortunately we soon became a bit disappointed. My husband and I had a room on the ground floor, facing the busy street. I did not sleep for 2 days. Here's a fun fact, garbage is collected in Dublin in the wee hours of the morning. There was no airflow in the room and the window didn't open because of it's proximity to the street. Closing the window didn't help the noise issue. My father had a room two flights up which was much quieter. The mattresses on all our beds were awful and the space did not feel clean. Parking was indeed a nightmare and even though we reserved and confirmed a space in advance, they had a very hard time accommodating us. Eventually they figured something out and we were quite grateful. On the flip side, the staff was relatively friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was quite good. Much more food than we expected. If we ever go back to Dublin we will not stay here again.

Room Tip: Stay on a higher floor towards the back of the building. The very busy main street outside slows do...

City centre is in easy reach. The Georgian Town house is very nice and the room is spaciouse clean and silent. We had a room to the backyard. Breakfast is very good with handmade fruit salad. There's only one negative point if you want one : There's no lift.

Location was very close to St. Stephen's Green but a little far from other major Dublin sights and hop-on-hop-off bus stops. They offer parking but I watched in horror as a couple spent over an hour trying to get their car out of a jam, I eventually threw my bedroom pillow from my window to help them from denting another vehicle. The major complaint was the noise, for a hotel far enough away from the action that I had to hire taxis, I did not expect no sleep. 3 nights of noise had me cranky and very tired for our last days in Ireland. Breakfast was nice but I will be looking for a different hotel for my stay in 2014.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the modern renovated apartments, a little quieter than the ones in the Georgian se...

If you are looking for a bed for the night, this place is OK. We stayed here on an overnight stop-off in Dublin, but were very disappointed.

The rooms are fine, and clean, but the walls are paper thin. We were kept awake by a snorer next door, and then woken up by their TV in the morning.

Do NOT stay here if you are bringing a car. We were offered a space in the hotel's "car park" which is down a narrow close, and completely inaccessible to anything larger than a Smart car. This meant hopping out at 7am to pay the extortionate prices for the on street parking meter.

The location of the property is excellent. Everything was within walking distance and it was located in a good area. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty (porridge with Bailey's - yum) and included a side bar with fruits, yogurt, etc. Our room was #11 on the top floor: 65 steps above street level, but with interesting historical information about the townhouse located on each floor. I had a problem with the double bed in the room. My back hurt after sleeping in it one night. Fortunately there was a single bed which had a mattress which was a little better. The furnishings are a little on the tired side, but everything was very clean and staff was extremely helpful and pleasant.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this B&B. Our room in the rear was clean, the bed was comfortable and best of all it was very quiet with no street noise. The location is great for visiting Dublin as most of the sites which we wanted to see were within walking distance or the tour bus stop was nearby. Plenty of restaurants and pubs were nearby so food and entertainment were never a problem to find. The breakfasts were very good with excellent selection of choices. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and catered to our every need. All in all a very enjoyable experience. Very good value for the price.
