Stayed at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel for 4 days recently. Check in was a breeze. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The location can't be beat. St. Patrick's Cathedral is at the end of the block. Grafton St. shopping is a short walk up the street. The hotel restaurant was excellent, but a little overpriced.
My only complaint - the street noise. We stayed in room 402 and several nights we could hear boisterous people on the street along with honking horns. An easy fix would be to bring ear plugs. Problem solved.

I have stayed in this hotel lots of time in the past. When I was booking it this time I was bring My Wife a 4 year old Girl On the web site it said children under 15 stay for free but they dont tell you that they want you all to sleep in the one bed or if I wanted to book an extra bed for my little girl it would be an EXTRA € 45 what a rip off I have never heard of this before and I stay in a lot of Hotels as part of my job. Thankfully with the help of Twitter and Facebook I can make hunderds of people aware of this with in hours. It is a pitty as I liked staying in this hotel in the past. I am very disapointed with them

A very comfortable, tasteful hotel with excellent staff and - in my case - an incredibly spacious room. The bathroom is beautifully done, though the massive overhead shower might not appeal to everyone (e.g. those who like to save water!). The only other minor quibble was the TV - it only received a few terrestial channels with poor reception, and placing it in a frame might look cool but completely deadened its sound.

Wonderful hotel with beautiful rooms and a great staff. Breakfast, unless it comes with the room, is outrageously expensive. With the room, its great...lots of food. Only drawback, there are no drawers in the room. Only hangers.

Great location; within walking distance to much shopping, restaurants and sites.

I booked a room at the Radisson for my last night in Dublin after learning that the B&B I was staying in didn't have hot water between 11pm and 8am. Normally not an issue if on holiday but I had a 8:30 am flight home and a hot shower before a 17 hour travel day was not optional. They allowed me to check in early - so I could get on my way for a day of enjoying the sights of Dublin. When I got back I relaxed in the bar - with a pint of Guiness, a football match on the screen and the Irish Times - absolute heaven after the craziness of Temple Bar. The staff was stellar - helpful in every way possible. The location was great - right by St. Patrick's.

Stayed here over St Patrick's day. Excellent rooms with stylish decor and lots of space. Hotel is close to hotspots of Grafton Street and Templebar. Brasserie served an excellent 3 course meal.
Can't fault this hotel. You get what you pay for.
