We stayed here for new year for 3 nights and it's an amazing hotel. Very clean and the hotels staff are more than happy to help.

When went out we always came back to a tidy room and fresh towels. We stayed in a king size room and it was nice and the shower was amazing, was a rain shower from the roof.

It's very central and is in walking distance to anywhere, would defiantly come back.

We never ate breakfast or supper as we felt the prices were a little pricey, and being so central there was so much options of cafés/restaurants. But that wouldn't put me off going back.

Amazing value and defiantly worth staying for a getaway :)

My wife, daughter and I stayed at this hotel for two nights over the New Year period.
Arriving at 10am on New Year's Eve, we expected to have to leave our cases at reception to return when our room was ready. However, the reception staff, who were very friendly and helpful. arranged for us to go straight to our room, which was fantastic!
We stayed in a standard room on the first floor, it was a good size and very clean/modern.
The hotel is in a great central location, within 5-10mins walking distance of the bars/restaurants of Temple Bar and the shops on Grafton Street.
Unfortunately, we didn't make it up in time for breakfast on New Years Day, they finished serving at 11am! But, we did use the bar which was very cheap, about half the price of pub prices!
This is a great hotel, modern well equipped rooms, central location, friendly helpful staff and very good value, well done Radisson Blu Royal we would thoroughly recommend staying here!

We just finished a stay here and we were quite impressed. The hotel had lovely Christmas trees and decor. It is very modern and feels and looks upscale. Staff was very attentive and efficient. The bar area was well designed and they had a huge list of specialty cocktails and top Irish whiskey and Irish beers. We only ate breakfast here and the Buffett lay out was full of quality and you will not leave hungry. Top service in cleaning off plates and tables. Very good food.

Our room was a junior suite so we had a third bed for our daughter and made it a little tight to get around in but it was comfortable and we all had a good sleep. Something I found unusual was that there was only one sheet no top sheet on any of the beds that was a bit weird, just a comforter. I have never had that at any hotel before anywhere in the world, so I am not sure if this is something new or the if it was just forgotten. The bathroom was huge for Europe, the tub could fit 2 and would be very romantic for couples without children. Very modern with size is greatly appreciated.

You would have less than 2 minute walk to St Patrick's Cathedral and about five minutes to Grafton St where all the best shopping is located. So it is very well located. Modern comfort, attentive staff, huge bathroom, great location, lovely Irish breakfast! what more could you ask for?
We would stay here again without question.

Room Tip: We had room 231 and it was at the end of the hallway windows face an other apartment buildings, it w...

I stayed here with some girlfriends to get away before christmas.Great hotel, lovely rooms. I always check out the shower before anything and was delighted with the spacious rain shower, beds were compfy the overall decor and feel to the room was pleasing. Would have preferred a little kettle for my tea as we all failed miserably in using the coffee machine to make tea... And the Irish do love their tea. All The reception staff i encountered were very friendly and helpful and will go out of their way for you. Front of house was let down by the stern grumpy doorman on Friday. Breakfast was great .. Loved the white (spicey) and black pudding. We had a drink at the bar both nights before heading out, the prices were similar to what you pay in town. They have nice nibbles but you have to ask for them. The bar was pretty soulless as I feel the staff can make all the difference, there was no Irish bar men for a bit of craic. The hotel is in a great location.. 5 mins walk up to the main drag.. But quietly positioned beside st Patrick's cathedral. We had a lovely Irish meal in Gallaghers boxty restaurant in temple bar. Overall it's a great hotel with good staff but you could be in any city in the world once you step through the door .. I don't think we came across any Irish staff the whole time we were there.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Friendly and efficient reception staff, lovely modern spacious room, and excellent buffet breakfast. It is situated within walking distance of all the main attractions in Dublin which makes it an ideal base for a sightseeing trip. We enjoyed cocktails in the bar and found them to be delicious but a little bit pricey. Room service and mini bar were also very pricey, had a little bit of a shock when we checked out! Despite that I would definitely recommend the Radisson Blu if you’re staying in the area. And I’d also like to say a special thank you to the team who put together my gorgeous birthday breakfast and cake and got my day started in style.

Room Tip: Business class rooms are superb. Enjoyed watching TV in the bath!

Upon arrival we were treated very warmly by the staff, who upgraded us to a Business Class room which was a very nice surprise! Our room (520) was on the 5th floor and had a great view over the city - we could see Dublin Castle! Very spacious bedroom, with space to lounge to watch the plasma TV, or play games on the laptop on the large work desk. The bathroom was spectacular - separate two person shower and a large bath, perfect for relaxation. The bed was large and comfortable for resting on, although both my boyfriend and I kept waking up on all three nights that we were there, I'm thinking maybe the bed was too hard. The buffet breakfast had a great variety and was delicious - definately eat breakfast here if you can. A special mention goes to Cheng, the front-of-house staff who checked us in - she is very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about the local area. She gave us some good suggestions about how to make the most of our time in Dublin, including suggesting that we purchase the City Sight-seeing Tour bus tickets (valid for two days) which we did. Will definately stay here again when we come back to Dublin in a couple of years.
