“Great Experience!”
Reviewed 16 January 2014 via mobile

We booked the Royal based on price , lactation, and Trip Advisor rankings. While at first the hotel seemed a bit out of the way, we soon discovered it was one of the better locations in town allowing us walking access to all the central Dublin attractions. The staff was especially accommodating and friendly for a large hotel. We felt as if we were at a guest house. On several occasions the front desk personnel went out of their way to accommodate our needs. While they pleasantly did their best to upgrade us to their Business Class rooms, we wisely declined. While the extra 35 EU cost included breakfast (18 EU), turndown service, and a morning paper, we found we could take a cab to Kilkenny's for their wonderful breakfast buffet and buy a morning paper for 12 EU each, inclusive. We did have to turn down our own beds, however! We would definitely return to the Royal again.

We stayed in he Radisson Blu Royal as we were travelling to dublin to see Riverdance. As riverdance was fairly close to the hotel we decided to book it. we arrived and had no idea how close we were to the main town, less than a 10 minute walk but the hotel is tucked up a side street away from the business of the main town.
The room was extremely clean and comfortable. had great facilities including a safe which is great for those travelling from abroad and need somewhere to store passports and important paperwork. the bed was very comfy and we had a great nights sleep. the breakfast was also great value, there is such a range of foods for breakfast including full english, fruits, yogurts, meats and smoothies.
as our flight wasn't till he evening the hotel kindly stored our luggage until we were ready to be picked up to be taken to the airport.
would definitely stay here again with such amazing staff, rooms and in such a great place.

Excellent hotel. Used my Radisson points to pay for the one night stay, and even though I used points they still upgraded me to a suite. Hotel looked very good, the room was one of the best I have stayed in for a long while. There was a large seating area, a balcony overlooking the city, and probably best of all an inbuilt TV in the bath. Just what I needed after 15 hours of travelling. Although I arrived late I had a quick snack and a beer in the hotel bar, staff were very friendly and the place had a good atmosphere.

I was upset to not be staying here for the whole of my duration in Dublin, unfortunately a stag weekend with lower budgets meant we had to shift. The Radisson delivers again and this will be my choice hotel next time in Dublin.

Room Tip: Suites on the top floor with the balcony are worth the extra

This was our last hotel stay in Ireland before returning home. Our rooms were very nice and comfortable. Room was clean and roomy. The bathroom was expecially nice. We a had a very restful night. Continental breakfast was good. Checkin was quick without any hassels. We attended an irish dinner show in town, so we were not able to eat in the restaurant. Location was great, even though we did not have time to see any of the local sights before departing.

I'm actually mid-way through a 5 night stay here and I've already made my mind up. The location is perfect for work and play, literally around the corner from the best restaurants and nightlife. The staff are for the most part courteous, friendly and its clear that my comfort is their priority. The quality of the rooms is top notch and being a shower-lover, I smiled when i checked out the bathroom. The food isn't the best and expensive, so use the location and explore the hundreds of nearby restaurants. The gym is a short walk away and not part of the hotel, but its got everything you need!
I've been to dublin 3 or 4 times before, this has been the best trip & the Radisson has played a big part.

If you plan to stay in Dublin this is your choice. We stayed for 2 days in July 2013 . Superb location just minutes from city centre. The rooms are big and comfortable with minimal design. Excellent Service.

Brilliant hotel. From the minute of booking in the staff were friendly and welcoming. Location is perfect in a central location of Dublin, minutes walk from the pubs and clubs. Underground parking makes the trip particularly easy. The room was spotless and roomy. Perfectly presented. Perfect sleep. Nice bathroom and toiletries. Breakfast was wonderful with a wide selection of tasty food. Very attentive staff. Whilst maybe priced slightly higher than a lower quality hotel the extra price is well worth it. Recommend internet search engines too for a discounted price which I got. Will definitely be returning to this wonderful hotel.
