“Will definitely return”
Reviewed 9 February 2014

After having previously visit Dublin twice, I have to say that the Radisson Blu will definitely be the hotel of choice for future visits. Modern, stylish and perfectly located for all of Dublin's best shopping, eating and drinking and sightseeing spots.

We stayed in a Junior Suite on the 5th floor and can definitely recommend this in terms of space and comfort. The extra cloakroom is especially useful when there are three girls scrabbling for mirror space. the interior wardrobe lights were a very useful touch. The bathrooms are extremely high quality (loved the tv in the bath!) and plenty of high-quality toiletries, shower cap, vanity kit etc create the impression that the guest's every need had been catered for. The Nespresso machine meant a good start to the day with quality morning coffee while chilling in the spacious living area. We had a roll-away bed for an extra guest and an extra cup would have been nice if possible. we didn't ring and ask for one though but I'm sure it wouldn't have been a problem.

The reception staff are definitely worth a mention as they were extremely friendly and helpful from the minute we arrived (at 11 o'clock on a Friday evening). Maps were provided and taxis called and everything was done with a smile.

Whilst in the hotel, I would recommend a visit to the nearby Whitefriar Grill for a fantastic dining experience. Definitely one for concierge to recommend to visitors.

Looking forward to a return visit!

Room Tip: Junior suites are spacious and an excellent option for a girly weekend away.

A great hotel in a great location with great staff. Hotel ambience is just wonderful. We were given a lovely room... with even a TV in the bath and lovely views of the Dublin Castle from the room. Breakfast is very good and service at the front desk, restaurant and bar just impeccable. Surely nothing to fault in this hotel.

As a side note, just be careful not to park in the parking slots in front of the hotel as the car will be clamped in a second.

Liked the Radisson Blu. Spotlessly clean, nice decor, great bathroom and comfortable bed. It is located in a convenient location with many restaurants nearby yet the surroundings are relatively quiet. Staff were professional and efficient (but could warm up just a touch).

Few tiny niggles: Tetley Tea in the room - please, this is Ireland, Tetley insults us! No complimentary bottled water in the room. Bar prices were a little too much on the unnecessarily high side.

Overall, would recommend.

The Radisson is extremely well located in Dublin, just minutes from Dublin Castle, the pubs and restaurants on George Street and Temple Bar. The hotel is very modern and the room we had on the first floor was massive - easily the biggest I have had on my travels in Europe. The staff were also unfailingly polite and helpful with directions and other bits of advice around sightseeing. Overall the hotel is excellent value for money and a definite choice if you are looking for a modern hotel that is well situated for seeing this wonderful city.

Very nice hotel, nice location (couple of minutes of walk to major shopping centers, bars, restaurants), very clean and comfortable, quality staff and service. Just across the street, in 500m, there’s a magnificent church of St. Patrick and a nice park. Nice to stay either for business purposes or for rest.

This is a nice and modern hotel conveniently located just off George street so it's within walking distance to the city centre and many restaurants, pubs, shops and tourist attractions, very close to Grafton street and Temple Bar. The staff is very friendly and professional, check in and check out were very quick. The rooms are nice, spacious and clean, there was a bath and a walk-in shower in the bathroom. There are also a safe and tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. Beds are comfortable enough, we had a good night sleep, the room was very quiet. Wifi is complimentary, the internet connection was fast. Good breakfast buffet, great selection. We wouldn't hesitate to come back.

My wife and I stayed 4 days over the New Year at the Radisson Blu Royal in Dublin. The hotels location is great in central Dublin with easy walking access to shops, sights and restaurants. The check-in and welcome by the staff was warm and efficient. Our room was very nice with a small balcony and very comfortable. Breakfast good and the breakfast staff friendly and attentive. We had a great break in Dublin and appreciated the location and service of the Radisson Blu.
