“My first ever visit to the hotel in Ireland”
Reviewed 25 February 2014 via mobile

We booked a hotel near Dublin castle, we have arrived in Dublin airport and it's rainy so we have to take the bus and I have taken photos and have arrived in our hotel. There is great Irish breakfast and free wifi

First time at this restaurant
Excellent welcome by very friendly professional staff , particularly our waitress Pratima
Surprisingly inventive menu for hotel restaurant - I had Poitin cured salmon with grilled potato bread and Tenderloin of beef with beetroot confit - both were superb
Short but interesting wine list , keenly priced
Nicely appointed room , slightly too brightly lit for evening

All in all a very good dinner.

Stayed in two blu's near Dublin -- this one excels (other very nice too, for different reasons). Great bed, outstanding bath and quiet everywhere. Good location, perhaps 5 minutes from all the action, and therefore a bit out of the way. Enjoy.

Convenient location close to the City centre couples with a comfortable clean room, large bed and nice bathroom. Good power shower, separate bath and soft towels. Fast wifi connection which was complimentary. Did not have breakfast as attended cons ce at the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, efficient late checking at 1:20 am. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at the Radisson for 2 nights over valentines w/e. Great location only a short walk to centre. The main reception is really spacious with loads of seating for waiting before/after checking in. Room was lovely - clean, well equipped with hairdryer, iron, kettle etc, and the bed was so comfy!
Breakfast was also excellent - served until 11/11.30am on Sundays which is later than some other hotels and has a huge selection of food to choose from. Staff seemed really friendly - would definitely go back.

5-10 minutes walk to go to center and stores. Nice and ok hotel and lobby. Beds really great. A bit noisy in the morning cause of traffic just outside a main street of my room, otherwise really quiet at nights.

Reviewed 16 February 2014

Me and my partner decided to stay at this hotel for valentines as we got a good offer through work, and after looking at reviews online it seemed like a great place to stay.

When we arrived, we were checked in and given our room number. We had booked a king room, but when we arrived in our room it was a twin room. We made out way back down to reception, and they immediately rectified the issue and swapped us with a king room.

The rooms are absolutely gorgeous. Very modern and with great facilities - and a gorgeous bathroom! The bed is very comfortable and the rooms come with air-con. The rooms include a phone, internet access (wireless and wired via ethernet), mini fridge, safe, trouser press, iron, as well as the normal things such as a TV, phone and tea/coffee facilities. The rooms were extremely clean; I really can't find any faults with our room.

We ordered some food and drink via room service. This was made extremely easy and the food and drink was brought within 15 minutes. Very professional and extremely helpful. My partner wanted a bath we made a request for bubble bath (it was worth a try). They advised they didn't have bubble bath, but they did have bath salts. Within 2 minutes a member of staff arrived at our door with bath salts - we were very impressed.

Breakfast was gorgeous! They have everything you can think of including cooked breakfast, different types of bread, pastries, cereals, yogurt, smoothies. A lot to choose from and something for everyone!

I would just like to make the point that all staff we came into contact with were extremely helpful and friendly - they wouldn't walk past you without acknowledging you and saying hello. You could tell they had a 'can do' attitude. When we were checking out, we asked if we could leave our bags with reception as our train wasn't for another few hours. This was no problem at all. I didn't get all the staff members name but I did get Sean's name; thank you to him and all the staff as they really were brilliant.

All in all, I would recommend this hotel and we will definitely be staying again. The location (10 minute walk to city centre), the staff and the room just make this hotel outstanding. Well done Radisson Blu.
