From the moment we arrived at this hotel and met the receptionist and seen our lovely room with its spacious bathroom we knew our stay in Dublin would be enhanced. The hotel is spotless; it is also closely situated to all Dublin has to offer. The food was good too and reasonably priced; the staff were friendly and helpful and thus it is hard to find any faults with this hotel. The Maldron was recommended by a freind in work and he was spot on in his praise for this hotel. I too will be recommending this hotel to any friends who are thinking of taking a trip to Dublin.

We stayed at the Maldron for two nights, good value for money, clean comfertable rooms, near to city and tourist attractions about a 10min walk and very pleasant staff, l left my ghd hair straigthners at the hotel and l called the hotel and they found them and sent them back to my address in Scotland, so pleased with their response.

The Maldron was exactly what we were looking for in a hotel in Dublin: Close to the city center, but quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. Free WiFi and comfy beds. It's close to public transportation if you get the Freedom Bus Pass, which we did and highly recommend. It's well worth the price as it gives you access to any CityLink bus and you also get the Hop on/Hop Off bus tour as a part of the pass and free Airlink Airport trip. We walked to most of the sights we wanted to see when we didn't ride the bus. We can't comment on the food, but the room was clean and spacious. The only downside is the TV only had one channel, but we didn't come to Dublin to watch TV, so it wasn't that big of a deal. I don't know if this was technical issue or if the TVs really only have one channel.
Our flight didn't leave until 3 p.m. and the staff offered to hold our bags so we could squeeze in a few more sights. The luggage area was locked and secure, so we didn't have to worry about it. We would definitely stay here again and might think about purchasing the breakfast as it seemed reasonable. Oh, and if you happen to enjoy the Guinness a bit much at some of the local pubs and crave a late night bite to eat, the pizza place right across from the hotel has a very tasty Donner Kebab Pizza.

We booked 4 nights in this hotel after few hours of serious browsing through hotel sites and TripAdvisor. This caught our attention because of the price, nice reviews and location. Everything delivered.

Rooms were a little worn yes, but still everything was clean enough and appropriately working. Two things I could add the wishlist though: fridge and safety box. I think we had 3rd floor room with windows facing the street. It was good quality sleep even if the street noise got little into the room.

From the airport we arrived into the city with Airlink bus which dropped us off some 10-minute walk from the hotel. However, as it were, there are some dozen of different bus stops almost in front of the hotel and I think Aircoach made a stop there. It's not long walk either way, but good to consider. Also, if you like to take the bus somewhere, you can catch one just in front of the hotel.

We hadn't booked breakfast but we did right after we arrived the hotel. It was charged 8,50 euros/per person/per day which was good price if compared to nearby restaurants offers. It depends whether you want to leave the hotel for breakfast or not. We didn't. Breakfast was mostly Irish style, but suited us well. Also some fresh fruits and berry smoothie avaiable. Coffee from the machine, but decent enough. Newspapers.

Hotel is located within walking distance from the city centre. Dublin is a nice, small enough city that offers interest for a short holiday. We did some shopping and some sightseeing. If you feel childish enough - or travel with kids - the Dublin Zoo is highly recomended. BUT do it first thing in the morning. We went there the minute it opened and basically did the 2-hour walk alone, seeing some of the animals at very close distance. It's well-kept zoo in nice enviroment. Guinness Storehouse however you should reconsider. It's 16,50 euros per adult and the most you get is a pint of Guinness at there roof-top restaurant. It did taste better in Ireland though...

If you are interested in museums, the Hugh Lane Gallery is just around the corner from the hotel. Right across the street is Garden of Remembrance.

Also, for the hotel, must be mentioned the politeness of the reception staff. It was very nice on arrival and it kept that way. Thank you.

The Maldron is a very well furnished hotel and although the double room we had was small it was modern, had good decor and was clean. The food downstairs is also reasonable and when we asked the staff if we could take it to our room, they had no problem whatsoever. The staff are very helpful. The hotel is very close to the city centre, the shops and places to eat. However I did find walking around the area at night a little bit shifty! I would use the hotel again if the rooms were on offer. I don't think I would pay full price for this hotel, but then again a decent hotel in Dublin isn't cheap and you can't get much closer to the city centre than this!

when I arrived at the hotel I was made feel very welcome by the receptionist. The rooms were very clean tidy. The bathroom was spacious. I liked the buffet breakfast. The price of the rooms are well below the price of other hotels in that area. I will have no problem in recommending your hotel to my friends who frequently travel to Dublin.

Room Tip: The higher up you are in the hotel the less noise

The Maldron Parnell Square is a modern business-style hotel ideally placed for business and leisure travel in central Dublin. 5-10 minute walk from the shopping mecca of Henry St, and 2-3 minutes from the Hugh Lane art gallery with the reconstructed Francis Bacon studio, The Irish Writers Centre, and the Michelin-starred Chapter One restaurant. Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable with very good sound-proofing. The hotel is small enough to feel relaxed. The staff were excellent: friendly, efficient and helpful beyond the norm. Very good breakfast, and no sense of them wishing to move you on. I normally choose older-style hotels but in Dublin the conversion process often involves compromises which are not ideal for the guest, so I will be using the Maldron from now on: in fact I have booked in again for tonight.
