5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 May 2014

I stayed here my last 6 nights in Ireland before flying back home to Texas. My room was great, hot water in the shower, a great breakfast in the each morning. It was almost like being at home, just no mail.

We stayed for 2 nights, the last 2 nights of our 12 day trip. We had seen and done so much and we were excited to explore Dublin! This location was great since the Bus picked us up right out in front of the B&B! It was a wonderful location for a nice 4 mile run down to the water and back on the main road. Since it was Jan the sun doesn't rise until almost 9am so the well lit road was great for my running fix!! The bed was very comfortable and the shower was wonderful. Everything we very clean! Paul wasn't as long winded as most of our previous hosts had proved to be, he was very nice and straight to the point! I loved it! He was very nice and Made us a very early Breakfast the morning before our flight home! Overall I am very happy we got to enjoy his home!

Took my parents to Dudlin for the weekend and stayed at Bellgrove, could'nt have been better, very welcoming, rooms spotless and beds very comfortable. Bellgrove is on the main bus route into the city, and a great pub 5 min walk down the road, what more could you want. Will definitely be going back. Many thanks.

This was the first B&B that we stayed in at the start of our trip and certainly met our needs as we flew into Dublin before driving to the western part of the country. A good overall experience.

1. Accommodated our schedule and provided a room to us early so we could nap upon our arrival from the US.
2. Spent lots of time with us to help us plan our limited stay in Dublin
3. Directly on a main bus line and explained as much of the bus system as we needed to understand to get us into the heart of Dublin
4. Bedroom was small but very clean, shower was decent but not the best we had in Ireland, and the food was good; Full Irish Breakfast available.
5. Paul and Gussey were very accommodating of us - they also helped us understand the voucher system for B&B's set up through our travel company and let us use their printer when we learned that we needed to print out something other than what we had brought with us to Ireland.

You really aren't in the "heart" of the city when staying here, but as mentioned above, you are right on a bus line that takes you straight in. This also allows you to have free parking at their establishment if you've rented a car.

My wife and I visited Dublin from Thursday Aug.1st to Sunday Aug. 4th of this year. I had selected the Bellgrove as our choice for B & B as we had read so many positive comments from previous guests. I must say they were all correct and, thus, we were so fortunate to have the opportunity to stay with Guss and Paul. They afforded us many courtesies and gave us "the time of day" with discussion and guidance as to what would be the best to see re: the great highlights of Dublin. Our room was very clean and the twin beds were very comfortable and we had our own personal washroom with shower. The breakfast each morning was very tasty and plenty to enjoy, with coffee available 24 hrs. Very quiet facilities located right on the main bus line (really handy especially coming home in the evening). The next time we visit Dublin, Bellgrove will be our home away from home.

The owners were very personable and super full of information.
First Paul greeted us and got us settled; provided us w/ a city map, bus info and tons of details that we couldn't possibly retain but could only recall once in town. The bus stops across the street to take you into town and drops you off at the door on the way back, so access could not be easier.
The next morning we met his wife and when we said Dublin had worn us out & we had a car she recommended a great fishing town very near by to visit and she was not wrong; it was lovely beyond words and the fresh fish dining was to die for.
If you don't stay at Bellgrove while in Dublin you are truly missing the best place and the best people in town. And do them a favor and pay in cash. ;)

Unfortunately we only had 1 night to stay in Dublin during our trip. We spent 4 days in Ireland and wanted to make the most of our time.

That being said, the quality of the establishment as well their service was brilliant.

Great location with the bus stop directly out front. Made it very easy for us to get to Dublin city center without having to drive there. Which is exactly what we wanted.

As far as touring Dublin, we already had an idea in mind of exactly what we had wanted to see. So, that morning before we went off Gussie made a point to sit down and help draw a map out for us, and even point out a couple of notable items en route to our destinations.

Had a great breakfast conversation with her as well. Very hospitable, and genuinely nice people.

My fiancée and I are always most concerned with the quality of service above all. Gussie and Paul did not disappoint whatsoever. Our only regret was that we had so little time to spend with them.

Can't thank them enough.
