A good quality B + B. Room comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good. Fried egg a little oily but everything else was great. Nice bar downstairs. €10 for two bottles of beer but those are Dublin prices! Price was excellent considering that other places were charging more for room only. Would I stay there again? Definitely.

Stayed in The Ferryman with my friend for a weekend in Dublin, very good location 10 minute walk to Temple Bar or a taxi for only 8 euros. The staff were very friendly and chatty and helped with lots of questions we had. When arriving the room was very clean and had everything you needed (even a hairdryer!) We then learnt that our bargain stay also included a breakfast which was amazing and the staff once again were amazing and polite and would do anything to make your stay welcome.
Although the rooms were above the busy very popular pub the rooms were very quiet and secured by a door which you needed your room key to enter the upstairs. The pub was also good and we enjoyed drinks in the bar, the food looked amazing however we didn't get to eat the dinner as were out.
Will definatly be returning when I re visit Ireland. Amazing reasonable hotel!

Stayed here for two nights, it's in a good location, walking distance to temple bar and grafton street (shopping). Comfy beds and the breakfast that is included is really good! Would definitely stay here again if visiting Dublin

Have been here on Fridays after work . Mixed crowd of tourists , locals and post work people . Staff are good, drink is good and location is on the river and around the corner from grand canal theatre and marker hotel . Would recommend popping in for a pint .
