“Dublin Treasure”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 April 2012

This restaurant has many arguments to satisfy the most demanding customers. The food is very good value, as is the wine. The place is quite attractive with a cosy atmosphere. Service is excellent with very kind waiters coming apparently from all over the world. Highly recommended.

“Some exciting choices in dishes”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 April 2012

We chose ‘101 Talbot’ for its interesting menu and proximity to the Abbey Theatre where our evening’s entertainment awaited. The food was excellent value, and very scrummy: char-grilled courgette, aubergine, beef tomato, spinach & Greek feta gratin; Persian style vegetable stew, toasted almonds, couscous, toasted pita; Irish cheese with biscuits & homemade chutney. It was only on leaving, however, that we realised that one of our dishes was supposed to be served with a salad, which didn't arrive. Oh well. We were obviously sated by what we had and didn't even miss the salad!

This restaurant is an old favourite, I have been going here for years and it’s a hidden gem. The food is constantly fantastic, service is always top class. Deserts are just lovely.
