This is a small restaurant in Ballsbridge serving mainly fish and it is great. The staff are charming and more importantly the food is excellent. It starts by you picking your fish from a tray of fresh options and it goes from there. The meal finished off with some of the best deserts I've had. It's not cheap, but, definitely worth it. It was so good we went twice!

A trip to Dublin will be made memorable if you eat here.
This small restaurant serves a wide range of superbly cooked and presented seafood, as well as
traditional meat and game.
Experienced attentive staff, led by Tommy and Gary give unobtrusive service and show great patience.
This is a real gem, and for seafood lovers the lobster is a must.
Tucked away up a flight of stairs, this restaurant brings to life the saying that a good place is hard to find!
We enjoyed a lovely dinner here, and felt that the experience was worth every cent.
Can't wait to return...

This must be one of the best fish restaurants anywhere, wonderful atmosphere, beautiful tables with white linen and fine cutlery. We opted for the early dining menu (6pm - 7.30pm) choice of two courses for 23.95 euros, the fresh fish was presented on a large salver by our very charismatic waiter Michael who identified each fish and gave us choices on the different ways they could be prepared. We had mussels followed by salmon and sea trout all cooked to perfection accompanied by fresh leeks in a cheese sauce, carrots and celery and beautiful sautéd potatoes. Will we return? You bet we will!!!

The Lobster Pot exceeded our expectations! The food was superb and the service near perfect. We cannot think of anything negative to say about this dining experience. If you are looking for fine food that is memorable than this is the place for you. The fish is fresh, fresh, fresh and all is prepared on the premises. We will dine there again when we return to Ireland. I've read a few reviews that say the value is not good -- well you get what you pay for. If you want a dining experience that is far above average and food that is prepared to perfection then consider The Lobster Pot.

This is the first place we went on our trip. We were looking for good seafood and stumbled upon this restaurant. The wait staff was excellent. The House Chowder was amazing. The trout was excellent, we all enjoyed out meals. Very elegant ambiance. We had three courses (dessert was yummy) but we spent about 300 euro for the meal for five which is a bit pricey for us. I recommend the early bird from 5 to 7. Some excellent 3 course meals for 25 to 30 euro each. I do not think you could go wrong with anything you order.
