Super friendly staff, fantastic customers, felt like we were locals. As the name indicates it is a long hall style tavern. Beautifully ornate, Victorian era, wood walls, antiques all around, and a wonderful beer selection including my favorite Smithwick's. Feel like a local and head over to Long Hall for a pint or two.

We were amazied by this...not expected what we would see and felt like we were entering a movie set for Harry Potter! This is covered by your admission to the book of Kells and tour of Trinity College.

This pub is the real deal, no gimmicks, no frills, no drama - just good quality beer in a pub that hasn't changed through out the years, even though everything around it is basically unrecognizable. To the best of my knowledge this is a listed building and I hope this pub never changes. It's like taking a step back in time when you walk in with the ornate ceilings and lots of wood. Service is always on the ball and some bar staff are there years - as are the locals!

Before you walk inside the door you are transported to another time in Dublins history. The red & white tarpaulin overhanging the window, the dark wood and aged signage.

Ponce you enter, you know this is old. It's not fake old but genuine. Look to the ceiling and be awed by the plaster work, the colours inside draw you into a state of tradition and an expectancy of story telling, cell agus craic (Music & fun)

You won't find live music here, but you will find space to talk and enjoy a great pint of Guinness. Somehow, in an old style pub, it always tastes better.

Gets very busy after work, so if you want a seat, get there early.
