We had lunch here first on 17th April and went back on 20th April again!
Simple and delicious Irish food, quick service, moderate prices.
We liked it very much!

We stumbled on this restaurent and was really impressed. Lvly tasty & filling food. Hubby & his friend both had leek & potato soup , me and his wife had the pate. We then enjoyed the potato, corned beef & cabbage special , burger and beef and guiness pie. Top class food and service. Tables really close together - but quality of food was worth being cramped for a short while . I decided to try lager instead of guiness - €3.50 for 1/2 pint !! Hence back to guiness !! Would recommend and visit again .

Walking through the temple bar area we were handed a leaflet for the lunch menu, after having a look around the other places we decided to go to the old mill, small place but had a good atmosphere and the blonde waitress was very welcoming. The drinks were quick and so was the food, for the price you could not complain, the food was fantastic, I had bangers and mash and the girlfriend had the Irish stew. Lovely, it was that good we went back again two days later, the waitress remembered us and the food was fantastic again, fish and chips and chicken and chips in the basket, brilliant. will definitely return brilliant.

The stairs from the street leads you direct to the old mill restaurant. This restaurant has a lot of genuine Irish atmosphere. The staff is very nice and smiling persons. The food served there is absolute great. I got a 10 oz Sirlion steak, and even served rare as requested, it was extreme tender and so juicy you cant imagne. the fries and the pepper sauce was also a great experience. The prices vere average, which is great, when the food served is that standard. I can recommand this place to eat out in Dublin
